1. go do deeper well on pure strat and let them run over your crystal, after you lose, it "should" unlock. Have you won/lost on any map since? the achievement doesn't trigger if you used the Return to Tarvern option. To be more specific, if you ran a few of these pure strat maps and left by going back to the tavern, it doesn't reconigzie that yoyou have complete the said task, you only need to lost ONE map for the game to un-stupid itself. I'm not totally sure I know what I am talking about, so take this with a grain of salt and do a forum search, there are plenty of people asking this exac
2. Roughly how long does it take to complete a Pure Strategy map this way? Have not had the urge to try this mode out yet, i think survival left a bad taste in my mouth, so to speak. Anywhere from 30 mins to 2 hours depending on map and difficulty. (insane mobs moves a lot faster then medium) It is best to start on wave 8 to skip a large chunk of time. Also, it maybe wise to skip a few of these grind depending on the rareness of the pet. Also note that there are some repeat rewards. Plan accordingly. Take note on what pet reward are given on said map. You could easily find a tiger or a s
3. to make it worth while, I grind-ed my catch 'em all along w/ this achievement. If you make it to wave 15, you get the same pet as if you were doing on surv mode. The only map I do not recommend grinding in pure strat is servant's quarters. Srsly. Don't bother. Mages and Archers get stuck in random corners all the time...it's really sucky.
4. try shooting at the dps dummy w/ a chicken launcher while you have the chicken pet equipped. D:
5. Maybe I'm just being picky but I on the verge of crazy from having to listen to my new found companion, the chicken familiar constantly BA-BAWK-BAWK at me. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go do the challenge: chicken, beat it on med or hard and fire the chicken launcher. That is the sound the chicken familiar makes when it goes into atk mode. Only imagine the pet making this sound on a infinite loop. I can't imagine anyone not getting totally annoy by this...if you are one of the few that has this pet and don't find the atk sound unpleasant, you are one exceptional hell of a
6. I could use a few insane challenge runs: Gob rain/Wizardry/Monster Fest?
7. Did not read post but "Overpower" is when your power level is over 9000 /troll On a serious note, it really would be great to have a test server for ALLCAPSNERDRAGE nerds like you and I to test these things out before things goes live. It creates a buffer for feedback and also probably save some time on the devs part to try to patch things every week. Just a thought.
8. MY MIND IS LITERALLY BLOWN! I AM CURRENTLY PICKING UP THE PIECES OF SAID BRAIN OFF THE FLOOR AS I TYPE W/ MY TOES. No...but srsly, thanks for clearing that up devs!
9. Follow that yellow dragon road! From 7.08b
* Coop: Made Survival Enemy Difficulty Ramp easier (but still harder than it was originally)
Not completely sure what that means but maybe it has something to do with this?
10. Sorry...maybe it's my hangover but which pet am I missing?
11. yes I do but giraffe is not required for the achievement.
The pet types, as noted in the page regarding Familiars are: Gryphon, Tiger, Dragon, Chinese dragon, Steam Robot, Laser Robot, Hamster, Fairy, Imp, Genie, Hawk, Apprentice Animus, Huntress Animus, Squire Animus, Monk Animus, Apprentice Guardian, Huntress Guardian, Squire Guardian, and Monk Guardian. Note : These are NOT all the pets in the game , but rather the ONLY ONES you NEED for the accomplishment. To make it easier, create a checklist to mark off which pets you have and which pets you don't. http://dungeondefe
