Seeing this, makes me glad I never replaced my Xbox 360 after it burned out. While I did enjoy the Gears of War series, gaming on my Xbox has faded away from me and I prefer Steam so much more every day.

Instead of wasting time in general forums, why don't you try the Technical Support forums where you can get technical assistance on this issue?

They never said there would be female versions of the new classes. What's so horrible about playing a character that's not the same gender as you anyway? -edit- seems you got your wish, sort of :p it seems like an appropriate way to handle it. They actually did comment a while back that they would look into doing the both genders. :P Too lazy to dig up the link since we got an answer.

ALL projectile speed is impacted. ended up testing my apprentice/adept as well. However, the app/adept staves seemed to have a bit more "static" speed for the projectiles... 500 bonus, 14k bonus, were about the same, and a -6 projectile speed didn't seem that much slower.

This was commented on in the general forums. Run any NM map and complete it to trigger the unlock.

I don't think this is a Ninja nerf.... but more a bug, and no idea how it got past the "beta testers" unless the version of the patch we got wasn't tested by said beta testers. Anyways, reason I say bug on this. +500 projectile speed weapon has faster projectiles than a +3,000 which is faster than a +7,000. I definitely see where a +10,000 seems like -500 just based on the +7,000 projectile speed weapon I have.

That is my hope as well Valheru. Still hoping for an official response or a link to an official response about this before I plop down any money on the Barbarian pack.

Gee, you couldn't have check the other half dozen threads, and the more than a dozen posts by the devs explaining what's going on before making this? Let alone trying, ya know, a search? Answer is patience young grasshopper. Steam/Valve is adding it in sequence and you will get it free.

I thought the Assault pack was supposed to be free with my complete shards DLC? Pay attention to what Hitmonchan has posted, he has already answered your question twice in this thread alone.

Going to try asking in here as well. Will there be a female variant to the Barbarian? If so, is it part of the same pack that will come down the road or will it be a separate pack?

More or less the title. Got patched, watched the trailer for the Barbarian release. Still debating on it internally as I logged into the game, and noticed there is no female variant to the Barbarian. I know Trendy has not promised we would get both genders of future hero classes, I vaguely recall a post stating they would look into it. So, posting this to get a little attention to this as I am wondering if we are getting a female barbarian down the road? If so, will it be separate or part of the Barbarian pack? If not, oh well I suppose, and I'll just have to consider if I want this pac

Trendy has posted about this in a couple places, Valve is processing it atm. They're doing things in sequence, and we need to give it a bit more time before we get free assault packs.
