  1. If you have trouble with loadtimes just redo the inventory code, it does not seem like like it is worth saving anyways. The invalidation of gems shouldnt be the solution for your bad code. PS: TY for listening to our call for more slots though.
  2. I dont really see the point in using an outdated browser. Even though his reasoning for the complaints is bad, he is still right: The Forum software sucks big time.

I dont really care, usually ppls calling others stupid just do so because they lack other arguments - can we go back to topic ? btw. my post was no contradiction, just maybe slightly bad english ( no native speaker, sry ) my point was ( imho comparable to what gigazelle also posted ): a build ( as a general player setup) made by a single set of specific boni for this build ( like the current whitestats etc. ) is always inferior to a system that just gives access to the tools ( combining tower speed with a %-chance proc for example ) if the items a build is made of are generic enough, every single player is challenged to use his creativity to make a build that is fun for him ( no everyone just wants the fastest DPS, some want CC, some like it shiny, some like it loud etc. ) removing Tower Speed was the first step from the right path, and 'builds' are the first step in the wrong direction... at least in my opinion. Devs have another plan, i hope i just dont see the big picture.
  4. Yeah, based on what they are currently doing they really should stop. Builds should be a nice Option, but players should be able to work out individual builds ( like a only defense-speed-stun-everything,but do no-dmg cannon build for example ) White stats ( = builds ) are so strong they are required for every endgame item, and there is no room for variation.
  5. When playing with my new Purge evil weapon i havent notice it triggering and i became unsure about the trigger conditions: 100% chance ?only my hero kills ?only my hero kills as a monk? only my tower killsall my kills?all ( team,hero+tower+pet) kills?is there a animation for the explosion?
  6. Yes... someday it might(!) be ok. NOW it is time consuming, and annoying - it drains motivation that could be used to play the game and test stuff.

  8. While i can support this strategy ( good job on communication here ), i would apreciate if feature removal and UI fix would have been in the same patch. The current system causes a lot frustration while playing.

  10. I dont think they are doing their job wrong. They are Developing and fixing Stuff. ( Breaking other Stuff ) This is how things become if devs organize themselves. There just seems to be no responsible project management, and decent Developement Cycle ( agile developement / or scrum anyone ? ) I dont understand how all these Bugs could slip through QA I really wouldnt mind if they only fixed like 10 Bugs and added 1 Feature every other Weeks, as long as the general game would improve.

  12. Just a short suggestion: In other games i saw the patch announcements directly linking the patchtime to timezone calculation sites. Everyone abroad googles the timezone anyways - why not directly supply a link ?
  13. So, what about the patch ? I wouldn't mind a "patch will be late by minutes/hours/days , QA noticed 1-2 last minute Issues that we are fixing" No communication at all sucks.

    If you reroll iPwr 700-800 Gear to "240 with random stats" it feels like a whipe, you can sugarcoat the name ofc. Tomorow ? Ok, ty. Playing is about strategy & rewards. - Reporting bugs feels unrewarding if every patch introduces gamebreaking bugs that are evident within 5 minuted of gameplay. - Item farming to 700+ was fun, low HP bosses were kind of balanced out with 0-drop Bosses ... frostfire trivialized the game afterwards, why play if it is no challenge? - Item farming feels unrewarding if every other gear item is broken ( doublestats, 0% boni etc. ) - strategy optimization is useless if the best Strategy is to Spam Frost towers - Hero dps is no fun: there is no usefull Hero Boost Monk build, or a Rage-Squire like DD1 had. Weapon dps scaling is nearly nonexistant, just AP Huntress or Tank Squire - Tower synergy got nerfed. There are only "white-passives-builds" with not much customization possible. - friends stopped playing, because game bored them. ...etc btw, i wasn't complaining - i just noticed i am not the target audience of the current gamestate. I just wanted to know when things might change. That was solved. ty.

    Patchdate ?

    Last Whipe, i played DD, even with the upcoming Whipe. In the meantime i kind of stopped caring, game is buggy as hell an no fun to play anymore... My hope is, maybe with the next patch, they fix the bugs without totaly breaking the game with new ones like they did last patch. Without watching hours of annoying Devstreams, and spending time reading forum posts: When is the NM-Whipe scheduled? "September" not very exact...
  16. They messed up Frostpower, with this kind of reroll they can hide it by removing it on most slots.
  17. Onslaught is the endless mode It is endless (if you dont encounter Trollblood Ogers with an Odd resist) but it is nothing like survival. There is no decent reward scaling, and the Starting difficulty is also fixed on a by-map Basis... ( etc. etc. etc )

  20. Considering the replys from TrendyBrad and the Defense Council Veterans, this post seems to describe the official vision for the perfect DD2 Gameplay. Seems i have had the wrong expectations for DD2.

  22. Yeah, that was sarcasm - good spot. My point is not the difficulty to level a Char, my point is that it is not fun and not rewarding. You cant even 'help' friends to level (slightly) faster because it is just a 100% trivial grind. Besides the fun factor, games become a lot of their addiction potential not from the solo play, but rather from the group play and the social factor. The current XP distribution punishes group play if the lvl-spread is to big. I am open to better suggestions, i dont want an NM4- gear set for my friends when they are 50, but i want to play with them, without having to grind freeplay. Grouping with them in Freeplay with NM2 gear is also no fun.... just alt-tab & gggggggggg ... replay map.
  23. Yeah maybe you are right from a hardcore gamers point of view, and if your suggestions are implemented the remaining 7-9 players will probably really apreciate it.
