Hey Rdeal, We're currently looking into this and apologize for the inconvenience, but in our testing this appears to be an issue unique to the X1X and we have had some difficulty in obtaining the proper hardware for testing, but we are actively working with Microsoft to rectify the situation.   6. There's an option to disable VOIP entirely in the options menu, but which platform are you playing on?

  9. The game is down right now while we sort through an issue with the new milestone. Please keep checking the website and twitter for updates.

The size of PS4 downloads comes from a combination of engine restrictions, the scope of changes in a patch, and the patching difference tools that Sony provides (which are different from Steam's). For this specific download we included a lot of new content (heroes marketplace, tower skins, costumes) and also increased the quality of most textures in the game to improve the overall appearance.

  12. Hey Defenders, We are working on a hotfix at the moment, expect something next week. In the mean time, try not to hit the "X" button on the souls of the night listing in your inventory because that will 'consume' them and they will disappear. More info to come as we have it. -TimmyTrashTier

  14. Hey Defenders, Stealth update this morning. We had to update Machine ID's on our web service. This should not effect anything on your end so please let us know if you run into new connection issues after this morning's update. -TimmyTrashTier

Nothing new is in the patch, but we had to update machine ID's in our web service and we reverted a change in the start-up resources loading order to try to figure out why we're seeing increased connection issues on PC after our Halloween update. Let us know if you're seeing any new connection issues after this morning please. -TimmyTrashTier

Hey Defenders, A couple notes on the triple mission weekends: 1) It is immediately active when it is turned on. 2) You will be eligeble for a new daily mission at 1am, 9am, and 5pm ET while it is active. 3) On Sunday, the last eligibility period you redeem a daily mission from will set the time at which you daily mission will become available on Monday. For example: If I log on at 1pm ET on Sunday, I will get my 9am daily mission. If I come back Monday at 8am, I will not get another daily mission, because my last eligibility period began at 9am Sunday and it has not been 24hrs yet. Logging in after 9am, however, will get me my mission. Regardless of whether or not I get a mission Monday, I will be able to get a daily mission 1am ET Tuesday morning. Hope this clears things up.   19. Hey Defenders, The short answer is that's how our engine works. The long answer is that because of how we compress and serialize binary content to optimize loading times and ensure client/server validity, we effectively must update all content whenever we update any content. This means that any change to a specific hero, enemy, level, script file, or UI scene necessitates an entirely new "cook" of all instances of those things. This new iteration of our game content is what constitutes the bulk of the download size. -TimmyTrashTier

Hey Defenders, We've been looking into the connection issues you have been experiencing and it seems like there was an issue with the Steam API endpoint we were trying to connect to for a couple hours. As far as we can tell at this moment, those issues have been resolved and you should be able to get back into the game as normal through Steam. We will continue to monitor the situation this morning and update here as necessary. -TimmyTrashTier
