Yeah he got a job and it became pretty apparent that Trendy was looking to hire some new talent. If that's really all the contest was about they should have just said so and that would've probably saved a lot of people some headache. As far as which of the maps is likely to win, that's no longer entirely decided by the player base since the vote is 60/40 favoring judges opinion (was pretty much that way last time anyways.) So disregarding that 40% for a moment (Which Tower Wars holds unanimously right now.) Judge vote might likely favor the map that's been custom crafted over all others. -

Except we never saw all of what the Trendy Judges had to say.. 3 out of the 7 posted something. It doesn't matter so much but hearing all of their opinions would have been nice. Feedback for a level designer is one of the most important things for growth. Especially from people who work in the gaming industry. Through praise or criticism, both are very important. That being said, I hope ALL of the judges get time to jot down some points for all of the entries. Doesn't have to be a full 3 paragraph review. A short Pros & Cons, and maybe a blurb or two about what could be improved u -

Thanks for replying! I see, it would be nice if steamwork shop had support for contests such as this. Maybe you guys could bring it up for the next contest? That would be really cool. -

Hey buddy, I don't want to be a bother but, wouldn't having maps using thumbs up ratings for victory in the contest be heavily biased for early bird map submitters? There are maps that were uploaded right as the contest started like tower wars because they were all ready in the makes. By the time the contest was announced some maps just tagged themselves as contest maps in their next uploads and already had whopping amounts of votes. Just saying, I do not think that this is a fair or accurate way to represent the community and map makers. Maybe you guys are tracking the new thumbs ups? A -

Yeah, every time I try to composite, it just removes the meshes completely. Such a huge pain. -

Here is the latest and greatest version of my map. Since this forum is popular with the modding community, I will post my maps changes here so you guys can test them out!
