  1. Ok, good to know -- would the only valuable replay be from the host's perspective then?
  2. Huh... West as in, 'the archer didn't path as usual and just shot from the get-go?' I see the glance now -- Does the game purely take the host's enemy locations into account, or can a laggy non-host register something happening that ends the round? I ask since Sharken were randomly running on non-existent paths on my end that game, and the other two players that we were building for were also complaining about lag. We run the same exact build consistently and cleanly through 40, but usually individually (no lag) or as a duo (usually minimum lag with just us two). Also -- golden arrows are ~6x more powerful than ogres? The general reaction during the game was 'wut happ' here -- if the replay were expanded to go to the enemy that shot or hit the crystal, or something tracked it saying 'your crystal was destroyed by X', that'd really improve the player experience on this. I still wonder about the above, but the issue of not knowing what ended the game is something I heard a lot even back when I did event hosting years ago. maybe the arrow was shot outside strength drain? Ok, viewing this on a hi-res monitor again. I don't see an arrow hitting it. That particle I was seeing on my low-grade work monitor was a green blob from the Gas Trap. The archer arrow sounds are the archer minions hitting things in the lane. This is a two-aura build, and I have about 4k radius on my Monk. Still not sure where the supposed golden archer is. Anyway, I'm back to confused but am still curious as to the initial questions. Where are you seeing the golden arrow?
  3. If on Windows, go to Network and Sharing Center | Change adapter settings...then make sure that any VPN or VMWare adapters are Disabled. Then restart the game and try it (if that's the issue at hand). If you're on any sort of VPN or virtual adapter, the game gets confused and won't let you create a game until those are disabled and you restart the game.

  5. Here's a quick Moonbase enemy count vid of Solo, 2p, 3p, 4p: https://youtu.be/6GRFpj_rLYo 11721 with 0 AFK 11709 with 1 AFK 11638 with 2 AFK 11648 with 3 AFK
  6. A few other Quick Bugz 4 u (1) Playing with multiple characters/AFKs: the HIGHEST score doesn't consistently save to the Leaderboards. It tends to pick P4's score if P4 beats the previous personal best. The HIGHEST score does save to 'Best Statistics', but the Leaderboards can have some other character's score thrown to it. The max score of all players should be taken for both. (2) Animorphic Ember pet -- Check the description: MARSHMALLOW is misspelled
  7. Golden enemy, either Sharken / Orc / Wyvern which died within the second or simply an arrow from an Archer. I'm glad you're sure of this, lol. You'd expect a dead body still fading out if this were the case. It'd be nice to have tracking as to 'what hit the crystal'. I also have a video of this and our reaction, which is kinda hilarious, and I can upload that if you want to see it. @Moonbase - I have a full video of the last waves of Moonbase NMHC Survival. I started at the minimum wave iirc, did a one-crystal 105/55 build lol, because it's hilarious. But the run was so boring, and when I brought in my AFKs, the # of enemies decreased ever so slightly. I can upload that video if you want to see it. [[24022,users]] Sup dude? (1) Wave 10 - Survival setup for Embermount should not allow the counter to go from 1-9 if it's intended to start at W10. (2) I guess my Fenixes didn't like me. The moment I put them on the counter and walked out the door for a bit, they flew away, lol. Maybe they flew into the lava outside.
  8. A few additions to what I see above: - Re: Fenix pet not persisting -- I just had 5 Fenix pets disappear completely. Put them on Tavern Item Shop desk, others said they couldn't see them. My Tav Items were locked, so nobody took them, lol. But I ended a session, came back tonight, and they're just gone. Same PC, same login to Steam, etc. It may be a deeper issue than just server-client. I haven't seen the same issue with Animorphic Embers, Ember Ponies, or Moons yet, so likely just specific to the Fenix. - Fenix Pet description: Lacks capitalization. "be careful" should be, "Be careful" -- simple capitalization issue. - Counters that have exactly 1,000 say "1000" (no comma). When they hit 1,001, though? "1,001" displays. There should be a comma in the 1,000 value. Good examples: held mana (pick up exactly 1,000); enemy progress bar counter during a wave with at least 1,000 enemies. - Embermount Survival -- starting on Waves 1-8 on Survival will start you on Wave 10. It's likely defaulting to the starting wave for Campaign, OR there isn't scaled wave data for anything before a minimum of 10. I'd imagine the prior on this one. - Akatiti Survival (as well as every other 35-wave) -- you can start on Wave 32. Moonbase -- you can start on Wave 33. Which one should it be? I still don't understand why beating through 40 on Embermount only allows you to run starting with Wave 36, but if we're going with approx. 90% the way through Survival as a starting point possibility, then Moonbase should be dumped down to 32 max. I still think YOLOing through a final wave is pretty gutsy, but you can't do that anymore. - Leaderboard Headers: Buccaneer Bay & Embermount Volcano both just say ": Nightmare" -- the Leaderboards are missing the map name. This is the case for Campaign, Pure Strategy, and Survival Leaderboards (i.e. all modes). - Also, there are more enemies on Solo Moonbase Survival on late waves than there are with 3AFKs. Did people actually want the 10k+ survivals back? There were tons of complaints about Endless Spires back in the day, when there were over 10k per late wave. Moonbase Survival is really ehhhhhh. - Suggestion: Animorphic Embers -- if you could exclude Hero Speed, that'd be hot. All of my NMHC ones so far had overcapped Hero Speed and like 400-500 in other categories. - Suggestion: Can we have stats as to 'what killed the crystal'? Mischief and I played Embermount, and there were no enemies or players within any sort of striking range of the crystal, and randomly the easy-side crystal just exploded. Nothing was near it, defenses were solid...just byebye. Replay was hilarious...just shows the crystal exploding and us like uhhhhhhhhhh. It'd be nice to see what the game says killed it. Might help diagnose this issue for stuff like Mistymire, where this used to happen (and may still). The Moon Pet is pretty fun since you can jump higher, lol.
  9. For those needing to download still: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=142438197 Re: Difficulty level -- should be a much easier one to clear, hopefully a good break from the O_O tough last few
  10. Site was down for quite a bit this afternoon, up again for anyone who was playing it. Cool little inventive game, was pretty fun.
  11. So you can try solo? And I just realized I have no aura set O.o Ultimately yes, but it's more doable + more economic for hosts to have a full group running :)
  12. Any chance of having events during EU-friendly times? Some of us are more of night-owls, so if you sign up for an event, just message one of us or PM us on here and we'll see if we can coordinate a time to play it. These maps are pretty tough, so best done w/ big group, but the guideline for some time has been that if you sign up and make an effort at it, you are given an event item.
  13. ----------------- End of Signups --------------------- Thanks for signing up, the deadline for signing up has now passed -- meet us in the PC Community Events Chat here during the running hours (Noon to 10pm EDT, Sat-Tues, preferably sooner than later in that time frame). Be sure to download the custom maps if you have signed up. If you missed out on signing up this time through, stay tuned for more events to come!
  14. I know I'm going to be busy much of the Good Friday-Easter weekend (and my b'day is Easter Monday), and some other hosts will be missing, but we'll have a sweet event for you very shortly. :D
  15. Well, it could be done if he's offline on Steam, otherwise STEEPERS GON BE EVEN MORE RICH

    Ouya

I'm likely picking one up, more of for the more open feel of a social gaming console for when company is over and we don't want to huddle around my computers.
  17. Will miss ya, Towlie! Too bad hackers gonna hack. lol edit dat language tho
  18. Sorry, thought this was a troll thread, especially given his spelling was fine when we played + his other posts have decent spelling, too (not to mention he spelled swearing correctly in his sig).
  19. Edit: Is this a troll thread or serious?
  20. Oh hey, anyone else participating in Return to Aquanos? Time slots finish on Tuesday, and a few of us are chillin here waiting on 4 more at the moment if anyone who has signed up is waiting (join the Events Chat).
  21. Ramparts = favorite initially, first survival I took to 25 before the survival number nerf and EV-and-later heroes were added. 900 wyvern rush at the end of every post-20 wave for the win...? Crystalline Dimension = favorite defense map/'regular' map to play. Old One got the beat down a lot. Assault Challenge Mission Pack = favorite overall. Running through Assault with Adept was pretty hilarious, and Jester makes Assault even more fun.
  22. GO MISCHIEF GO MISCHIEF GO lol I think Mischief is the only player in the game to legitimately solo Greater Turkey Hunt without barb towers...and even if not the only, I know very few would have that level of dedication. Even in a group, TH2 needs rebalancing (aka extra time per wave and increased Turkey Spawn rate, which I'm pretty sure involves a variable that is ignored in the code at the moment...). I also have videos of some our playthroughs of his more ridiculous maps. The event maps are pretty tame compared to those ones, lol. I'll post some embedded videos later of those, lol, they're pretty nuts. Edit: Truly Suh dish tick Old One Uber Old One w/ Special Guest Bosses CD Survival Part 1, Wave 30 Boss Gauntlet Survival, Wave 25
