Thank you. The game originally had it in Early Acess, but it removed with promises of placing it back once they figured out the kinks. If not mistaken it had something to do with local controllers being seperated. Controller support still is wonky at best.

I see a lot of the community in here must be a little younger because they tend to just joke about how CG basically rused people into paying for an unfinished product and broken kickstarter pledge. I appreciate the turnaround but let's stay grounded that this is still 1.0 with early access issues and still some MIA features. Ha, I'm in a similar situation.. As far as what I've remembered on the kickstarter local co-op was a notable feature. Apparently it was in the Early Access but then removed due to conflicting bugs. My wife and I held out hope that it would be figured out by 1.0 but now we feel left in the dark with a lot of apologies and bug fix promises but I haven't seen an official word on this local split-screen. Appreciate the recent transparency that is being shown regarding some of the decisions of the release, but would love to hear at least some sort of timeline regarding split-screen and if it will be returning at all or a timeline/priority for it.

It's a white lie, the CMs are not transparent and information is lacking.. to drop the price in half (moreso with early donaters and higher pledge amounts) and not address or shed some light on direction of the game.. it's absolutely insulting.

It's just an absolute slap in the face to all pledgers and to the Crowdfunding model. This is bad business. I implore you to take a look at Loki Grants thread and let the developers know about these frustrations through reviews and word of mouth. I have no problem whatsoever with accepting that promised features will NOT be included in the Kickstarter pledge if that information is doled out on a clear and concise timeline with the community. Early into development the community complained about repeat bugs involving the UI and 2-player split-screen. Many of us in the community submitted details and voluntarily followed up with Devs on bugs on reports. The solution? Bought into the Kickstarter as my girl and I are avid DD1 fans, the PROMISE made in the BACKER is NOT being HONORED. Absolutely heartbreaking to wait for delays and fixes but yet still try to have a glimmer of hope that they would fix the problems and at least add split-screen, just to see I've been duped on an apparent cash grab built off of vagueness and white lies...
