  13. Supreme isnt 100-300% better than Trancendent, nor was Trancendent that much over Mythical. Heck, I still find trancendents that are worse than mythicals. Regardless, it shouldn't matter what percent better a new piece of gear is. Better is better. Well, I actually agree with you here, it is a waste of time to farm. Once you've fully conquered a new piece of content, continuing to do it over and over and over is not a great idea- it doesn't open up any new possibilities, which is part of what a new piece of loot is supposed to achieve. This is an interesting discussion, but I will set a good example and not digress this beyond this point. Why thank you Sir. I shall bring this back on topic and we should make a separate thread sometime. Bump for.Mobile justice! Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  14. In most games new loot doesn't mean a huge 100-300% increase over the last set... its usually 1-5% and then I would agree its not worth being afraid... wasted time to farm in DD with the huge jumps, even if they have gotten a bit better. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  15. The game isn't unstable. I suppose by "stable" you could mean "no more new content"; but that's not stable, it's stagnant. Stable as in not having to worry if my leer top tier gear will be over ridden next week... Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  16. I prefer a pet like the genie but instead of give mana to players adds mana to your bank, something like this: Screw sharks... I am for little men on green outfits giving me money... Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Who's to say I never played the Mobile version >.> And I really do smile every time I see "Dungeon Defenders for Mac" :D And ty for the vote of confidence Finally ;) Hopefully I can catch up in some games with you cats here before too long, as I'm coming back here over the next few days :D It's not that hard... I stopped around the 74 cap and am waiting for the game to be stable... Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  18. Observations mean pretty much everything in the abscence of conclusive evidence. You need quite a lot of them to make something believable though. Anyway, this particular host may not have had a summoner, or believed that he needed dps/boost monks out to get far enough, while also maximizing armor drops. Well that, or he could have believed that only monks are good enough to play survival. You'll find more armors per player if you solo too... doesn't mean a single or few observations are correct... I am pretty sure the rates are based on the creature by map and the base value multiplied by a rate per player. Tldr Armor spawns are not based on class type Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  19. It outlines very clearly that it's for mobile players. Nice try Mac ;) Close enough... I hear playing DD on a mac works about as well on mobile :ogre: Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  20. Well, if the reward lays unclaimed, I'll take a playstation 3... I'll probably only use it as a decent paper weight... but nevertheless... I'll take it ;) You sir deserve one ;) *all unclaimed prizes should go to Finally for distribution or Classic22 since he lacks an xbox Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  21. It would be a witch-hunt. People tried it before and achristian mod closed it stating, This would only lead to many many people reporting each other for duping because they won't trade with them, kicked them from a game, or the many other reasons people don't like each other... It won't do any good but cause more troubles =3 Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  22. You're seeing what you want to see and you're not considering any other factors. If you want to believe Trendy is "ruining Dungeon Defenders forever" based on the play count history that's fine. You'd be terribly wrong, but it's fine. The best way to view these are over it's life and watch the peaks... when you see a peak jump from 2000 players to 19000 (shards release) and suddenly plunge 2-3 days later to 4000 that slowly diminishes... you see the true effect of te. Many players bought the game and about 80-90% have the shards dlc... but what does the chart show? When a shards is released the community cones back. We see a player rate hitting 19000 of the 21000 max... that's great for tell and speaks world to what people want... But we also see it's a huge spike that drops suddenly... people enjoy the game but they aren't staying... The real question is why aren't they staying and what can TE do to slow the rate players leave. The graph should be a hill not a mountain. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  23. I'm looking into it. I was told this many many times (tried to be polite and PM) and I've waited many months with no response from TE... Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  24. You don't need super stats to handle sharken. You just need a good setup/strategy. This ^ Everyone assumes you need extremely good gears but most players just plop down a mess of defenses and question why everything explodes so fast. That's not to say stats are nothing... you can't go into Nightmare with 200 stats and complain about insta dying. There are minimum requirements for a difficulty but they are far lower then a lot make it out to be. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
  25. No, everything necessary is there, and confirmable using the playtest tool within DDDK. You just need to know which files to read, and with few exceptions (I can't track down what causes generic resistance to ever be negative) everything I've ever seen spawn in-game has fallen within the bounds my calculations set out. The equipment archetypes contain the static stat bonuses and base stat range for an item type, and the item generation code has the maximum multiplier applied to that stat range hardcoded at 33. While any of those can be changed, as long as an item archetype is in DDDK and up to date, it's possible to determine exactly the maximum stat for that item. There's a lot of script included with DDDK. I've read it extensively. Congratulations if you can but many have tried and failed. There are so many multipliers that were constantly changing Truda once admitted creating items was a shot in the dark with many tries and retries. Last I knew (30 days ago) the playtest map didn't calculate correctly. I would like to know tho how you calculated items if you'd PM me sometime. Learning is fun! Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk 2
