  1. I 2nd Quinn's comments on drops in chests or reducing costs. This was a huge reduction on an already overly grindy game. Not really taking the burnout of players into account on that change.  

    Still wish to see shard management corrected. Having to store up to 6 of each shard you want in a game with limited paid bag space is real pain and quite frankly poorly designed.  Come up with a way to stack shards or do partial upgrades. This has been an issue for way too long, especially as even more shards are introduced. 

    I'd still like to see better MOD management.  Destroying the item it comes off of, while the game constantly changes metas is not a harmonious combination.  Make mod storage and trnsfer easier.  All my bags and vaults are constantly full, and i can't play more than like 3 maps without doing like 15 min of inventory clean up. Sucks a lot of fun out of playing.  Bag rules need evolved as well to account for mods, so i don't keep picking up every single useless item on the map. 

    I greatly happy for new dd2 action. Finally after 2 years of cyro skeep, the beast has revived. But - there are issues from 2+ years ago still not resolved,  so i love the new stuff, but please address some long term fundamentals too. Love getting new towers,  but still have completely useless ones on dire need of reboot. Did great finally making pets matter.  That was a long time coming. 

    Thanks for new content. If someone ever gets to my tech ticket about my hypershards vanishing,  i might get into playing this again.

    Ouch on anti mods. Lot of nerfs going on without much buffs elsewhere. Don't see any towers getting damage buffs apart from a few mods/shards. 

    I'm curious as to how temp items work when you can't access the menu during gameplay. 

    Not sure i understand how persistent tower works. Upgrading, building, and selling are fairly easy commands, so will have to see how this improves that. 

    Great to see pets get an overhaul. Can't wait to see them in action. 

    I'm not clear about Drakkenlord. Is he just not spawning as a miniboss anymore, or is his stage no longer every "4" map?

    Love seeing 2 new elemental types added. Going to have to start using oil traps a lot more! Especially since they work on air lanes. 

    Poor Barb, siphon nerf hurts. But Dryad hornets may now come back to builds...

    I don't mind meta shifts too much, but there is one aspect of DD2 that needs to evolve - make moving MODs no longer destroy the item it came from. Having to overwrite a 10 mod because of a meta shift will make for very unhappy players.

    Huh, i spent time in Alaska and Dawson City, and I've taken the Sourtoe challenge...if that is what you were referencing. Severed human toes in your drink! Great fun that was.

    At one point, i asked them to make the Orca (ship from Jaws) with the yellow floating things. I thought that would pair well with the shark theme LOL

    Yeah, but it's an Xbox exclusive pet, so they can't use it on other consoles. 😥  That's why i got to beg for a redesign...

  6. After such a long DD2 drought, this is incredibly exciting news. I can't wait! 

    I'm very curious about the shocking rev mod change (fun for who exactly?), and the pet buff. A new tower skin? Awesome. Permanent gifts with no tree? Brilliant move CG. Rate caps removed? Hell yeah!

    And looking forward- more maps, shards, mods...OMG yes please. Will Man & Machine finally arrive? Or the Prisoner with her ball and chain? 

    And just because i got to- shark pet! Just saying. Redesign it so no exclusive issue. SHARK PET!!!

    While DDA is the current CG focus, DD2 is very much still alive. I am excited to see any energy spent on resurrecting the DD2 forum, as that has been on life support for over a year. It's needs some direction and effort. Meme challenges, surveys, guides, contests and giveaways, random questions, and some just good natuted goofiness. DD2 is far from dead, so it's forum should reflect that. 

    Some things to know about the DD community. We are passionate and loyal to the franchise. We appreciate news and honesty about timelines. We are always desperate for new content and guides on how to play the game better. We are always looking for an excuse to play DD more- so give us one. We are happy to help in those efforts, like the wiki pages. We want DD to succeed, so that there will be more.

    Just to clarify - DD2 had no pay wall or pay-to-win tactics. Money bought you flair and bag space, both unnecessary to beat or play the game. You can do all of DD2 without spending a dime. 

    And...this is absolutely meant to be a grindy game. Grindy franchise. Grindy genre, on both sides.

    Yeah, i have more than 1 huntress, so likely do both.

    plus mods added a bunch of poison to other towers. Mystic coils could be great for cc now w spilt vipers and poison on sand viper and earth on the coil. Could Harpies be useful now, hmmmmm?

  11. Sounds like a lot of great stuff. I am very excited. 

    Question - will damage done by a Poison chip/servo automatically cause positioned status on enemies? Doing elemental damage and inflicting an elemental status are two different things in DD2 right now.

  12. Congrats on the new freedom CG! Many of us are really excited to see what you can do. So glad to see DD2 will go on. I am happy something new is coming in OCT. Great to see that DD3 was mentioned as well. So excited to have more DD to play!!!!!
