I am extremely happy that I will no longer have the feeling of time wasted when hunting for shards no longer do I have to accept wasting 10k defender medals without getting a deadly strikes shard or any other shard below c8. I can finally target c8 amps I don't need to grind for a undetermined amount of days hoping for a c8 amp to drop I can obtain everything needed it's finally an achievable goal finally I can determine when I will get one and I don't have to cross my fingers and hope I will get one. Thank you Chromatic Game's I am one very happy camper. PS my c8 amp count increased tenfold I made 18 c8 amps with 1k c7 amps to spare.
  2. Fair point, I won't deny the fact that I rarely use walls and they could do with some improvements but I was merely stating that walls have a use just not as much as you would expect.
  3. I have a use for walls in onslaught 90+ on omega waves I place a wall and reflect beam a quick and easy 70 defence unit's gets the job done for ranged boss lane's there's probably a cheaper method but it works for me so I'm happy to continue using walls.

I will leave it alone and if you trust CG so be it but I will remain sceptical.

  6. I'm not going to say there will or there won't be micro transactions but I'm just pointing out that paying for a game doesn't guarantee no micro transactions.
  7. Normally I would agree but over the past few years it's no longer that way because game devs are growing increasingly greedy and here are a few paid games that have a premium currency Battlefield 5, Grand Theft Auto 5, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Far Cry New Dawn.

RNG is good to an extent but when a part of a game is locked behind a RNG wall that is in my opinion poor game design that is why games like dark souls are just so darn good because if you are skilled your characters gear will never hold you back but of course if you lack skill you can always grind for better gear and levels. And then there's other games those games that had their lives extended through the use of 0000 yes just a few zeros either before or after a number to make you spend more time doing a select few maps or dungeons or bosses a few hundred times just trying to get a single item to drop so that you can enjoy the content in a game that a majority of times you pay for now I'm not saying that difficult content shouldn't exist I'm just saying you should be able to enjoy the content without having to grind for hundreds or even thousands of hours just because your gear is too weak and you didn't get lucky.

I strongly disagree having excessive amounts of RNG and Grinding is a bad thing and makes the devs look lazy due to artificially increasing the life of the game simply by increasing or decreasing a number to absurd amounts to me that is the exact cause of mind numbing content where you just sit there doing the same thing for a few hundred even thousands of hours hoping for that one item to drop there is absolutely zero skill involved in this type of content it's all about the time investment. I would much rather a challenge of skill not time if you want to invest nothing but time that's good for you but I will never understand why people enjoy a endless time sink. I'm the type of person that likes to reflect on what they have done but in the case of excessive RNG I can reflect on my past 1000 hours and usually see time wasted with absolutely zero progress because some genius thought it was a good idea to change the drop rates from 1% to 0.0001% that is not fun neither is it good content that is more RNG to artificially increasing the life of the game.
  10. Its always great to come up with ideas, but when you do you need to think about how to break them. With this you are giving people the ability to use alt accounts or friends to power carry them through resets by using extremely OP gear to use little to no DU. I don't know about the rest of the community or Trendy but I think our player numbers are already inflated by the use of alts because of trading. Using one or more alt account since mats and trading became a thing has gone up significantly just on sight, who knows how many go under the radar, I saw a group in town with the same name with very slight alterations, it was all one guy with 4 accounts. I wonder why he would need those. I know I'm one of the people with all accounts because I can prepare a account to carry my main account through resets and get double to quadruple the rewards
  11. Only if C8 gear can’t be reset *cringe* It would be great if C8 gear didn't reset because of the investment needed to make it C8
  12. Just give 1 C8 amp every reset because well I don't have a good reason right now I just want some C8 amps.
  13. Has there been any changes to the drop rates of the C8 amps? I know I don't usually have the best of luck but I have noticed a decrease in C8 amps in player shops over the last few months. I'm not sure if people are just keeping them if they are selling quick or if they are simply not dropping as often.
  14. After sleuthing through threads and personal experience it's becoming painfully clear that some serious balance changes need to be explored. Early game everything feels just over powered just add a trash MOD or upgrade a relic a little with the use of a good defence like WM then early game is trivialised. Mid game is not much harder with the use of MODs and practicality any circle/cone of death it's still pretty easy But late game around onslaught floor 100+ the balance seems to start going out the window and the higher you push in onslaught the worse it gets. Tower's just keep falling short here's a few examples Skyguard a tower purely designed for air defence just can't keep up something like a PDT and FA does a better job. Almost every situation blockades can't hold out because enemies hit too hard. I mean yeah every tower is viable early game but only 10% of towers are viable late game this diminishing returns heavily impacted late game only but it's irrelevant early game
