  1. Right now, our two options are: A) defense power; and B) crits. As long as they both do a quantifiable amount of damage, it will always require a simple math problem to determine the right choice. The correct answer used to be: CRITS. And power transfer was gold. Currently, the answer is: DEFENSE POWER. And the shard is rather lackluster. I wish that crits did not compete with regular hits in terms of damage. Instead, make them apply an effect of some sort. This could be a status effect, condition, elemental combo, debuff, etc. I think this would allow a real choice and give shards like power transfer value.
  2. FWIW, I enjoyed the challenge of the exploding enemies. When I get a little nervous about some dive-bombers, I put a blockade in front of the towers. Or I fiddle around with placement to get my towers out of line of site. And I certainly make good use of auras and traps to bait the little flying devils. I enjoy these mobs. I hope they stay as is.
  3. I have also spent a long time tinkering in vain to find a useful crit build. In the short run, crit damage needs a significant boost. Without much number crunching, I am thinking base crit damage would have to begin at around 100%. And it would have to scale up a few hundred percent more before it paid off in terms of investment over other shards and mods. But in the long run, I would love it if crits felt different. What if landing a critical hit didn’t “do more damage”? What if it had an effect? Just off the top of my head, maybe a crit on a little mob, like a goblin, was an auto kill. While a crit on a miniboss weakened them or slowed them or reduced their armor or prevented them from doing their AoE stomp or (insert status effect here). I am just wishfully suggesting.
  4. I would be willing to hop down into lower levels on onslaught IF I had a chance to get something out of it. I suggest giving us a chance to score defender packs from previously completed onslaught floors. I also suggest a meaningful number of defender medals for previously completed onslaught floors. Either of these things would entice me to go help some lower level defenders climb the lonely road of Onslaught.
  5. I did not do extensive testing. But I certainly did confirm that my Tenacious Bees went from over 1 million dps to something horrendously low, like less than 100k dps. I also verified that the debuff persisted after selling the debuffed Bees and replanting a second bee defense in same spot. The debuff lasted for about a minute or so, well into the following Build phase. For the record, I do not think this is a bug. From the tool tip, Cursi-kazi causes a debuff on the ground where a kobold dies. Meaning the debuff is targeting the GROUND, not any particular defense. I believe this explains why the debuff remained in effect after selling the first Bee defense and replanting a second one in the same spot. Both defenses were on the cursed ground. Both suffered. I did not bring this up as a potential bug. I just didn’t want any other dungeoneers to walk boldly into a Cursi-kazi lane with unfounded faith in Tenacity. As I did.

  7. Do we have an official listing or reference of each enemy category? For example, are Cyborks considered melee? Support? Ranged? All three??? Is there any mod which cranks up punishment against dragons or zappers? What the heck is a chaos enemy? Knowing what categories each enemy falls under would make Etheria a brighter place.
  8. I think I found a real chink in the Tenacity juggernaut. It doesn’t appear to reduce the time that Cursi-kazi debuffs affect your defenses. It still takes a REALLY long time for that to wear off. I thought my Tenacious Bees would be immune to that mutation. But Timmy’s Revenge almost cost me the map.
  9. Okay. I’m sure I’m just missing something obvious here. But I cannot figure out how to increase the power of my mods. How do I get the low, red servo meter to get higher up into the green? Thank you kind souls in advance.
  10. Has anyone received the mod that allows your traps / auras to resist the cybork stun? I am chomping at the bit to get some. But I haven’t seen any. Do I need to be farming Onslaught 80+ or anything in particular?
