About Crawfish

  1. Similar to the Build it forward mode. You slowly build around the escort while it move around.
  2. You basically start from the south, and your ultimate goal is to reach the north, with your defense. 1. can only build when the game starts. 2. you spawn at the south and can only move when the game starts, you can scout at the beginning, but can only start building if you go back to the south. 3. enemies spawn rate increases as time goes on and the rate doesn't stop, so you have to build fast. You can have a leaderboard to see who can accomplish goal the quickest. it's a start. something different from just defending. it's almost like you're on the offensive.
  3. True, but I'm a player that tries to be social and play multi player, and just meet fellow players. solo is kinda boring after a while. Also, I join multi player just to see how they errr build and I errr copy, LOL.
  4. Seen too many 200+ ascension with c2 gear trying to join c5+ games. Even saw a game titled last night .... "Help, need builder" with 150+ ascension restriction for a C6. I joined, wanted to help ....... he was in c1 gear. Seriously?
  5. 1) To improve your Squire Canons: - You can get Stun Fire from Chaos I. Since you want to go solo, I would assume you didn't get the Heavy canon like other suggested, because they drop in C5. And in order to get it you have to complete C5. If you want Heavy Canon, you have to join someone else's build to try and get the heavy canon shard in C5. put deadly strike on your canon if possible. if can, put some space in between the canon and your wall, and run to them when you know an assassin is going to jump on you. 2) Stun walls? those comes from C6, so that doesn't help your situation if you don't want to join an existing C6 game. 3) the map itself? Avoid Nimbus Reach, that is a hard map. Dragonfall sewers is probably the easiest map out of them. Buried Bastille is a bit easy too, but it takes so long to build. Little Horn Valley can be somewhat okay. (some play turtle mode). Or you can carefully place defenses near entrance to thin out the heard. 4) Know beforehand where the Geode will come from and destroy it first before anything else. Press shift and look for it before starting the wave. only waves 4 and 5 spawn one each at the beginning. 5) best way is to join several C5, just to see how other people setup their towers.
  6. I have 100 down, and 10 up, played many games with gtx 970, and gtx 1070, and now 1080ti. But it seems only with this game. Is there a toggle to see what your latency to their server? There used to be but then they removed the console, i have 130 down 16 up and i get the rubberbanding as well, it's their servers. Im not sure where you got the idea that your hardware (outside your network card maybe lol) effected anything with rubber banding. I was trying to rule it out also

  8. 32" monitor played at 2k, 1440p, and even tried medium settings, AA on and off. Yet I still get warping especially when on gunwitch when on the broom whisping around. Does anyone who has this problem also?
  9. how about combining say 3-5 shards to randomly give another shard?
  10. This has it's drawbacks. You have people getting high ascensions with low gear. double xp isn't the root cause, it's the way people who don't understand gear progression. You have people with campaign gear or chaos I trying to play in a chaos V and such.
  11. Here is the original post I did with a pic. https://dungeondefenders.com/2/topic/146534/pc-anyone-having-problems-with-tooltips-going-off-the-screen?scrollTo=146534%23146534 And someone giving an explanation of why: https://dungeondefenders.com/2/topic/147558/anyone-playing-on-a-4k-monitor-got-visual-tooltip-problem?scrollTo=147558
  12. Don't quote me on this but i've only tested in game, not read from anywhere. The slower the firing rate like burst 1 hits harder than burst 3. But most people will opt for the fast one, LOL. I use the fast one cause it regenerates mana.
  13. My monitor is a 32" with an aspect ratio of 3840x2160 I've tried windowed and no it didn't work. I have to resort to 1440p, which I don't want to do, and even then have problem http://imgur.com/oI674y1
  14. I build a projectile tower not near the isle but is pointing back at your wall. Hence the mobs doesn't hit it. I build only the lanes that has potential of having a seige. It's my afk build.
  15. The others aren't really giving you much advise. Notes: 1) To improve your Squire Canons: - You can get Stun Fire from Chaos I.
