About SirKillsALot

  1. Well tbh this is the worst case of band aid job I have seen. Instead of reworking the drop system to make every map viable for endgame, they just moved the drop location to the maps which are less popular, and saved some work to re scale the map ipwr as they moved them all to 660-700 maps... If its just a temporary band aid.. its still bearable but if its their end solution for release... well its stupid..
  2. If you are looking for DPS build depending on bow and play style you might want to take hero damage+ hero crit or Hero damage + ability power. Because of most of the bows having multiple projectile the Hero crit doesn't scale very well for huntress. it only works well on Bling-o-midas. on the other hand if you like her abilities, they scale very very well with ability power. You can do massive damage if you build around that. Hero damage is a necessity because it increases the secondary attack damage drastically, which you can proc from your primary fire with the large sphere.
  3. Frosty power has been moved to only weapon and only 1 kind. it is called chilling touch and it only drops at Forest poachers incursion from the victory chest but it is 100 % drop rate.
  4. ya.. also if you kill herbringer in first wave you get a dragolich for free....
  5. for farming onslaught incursion, do you drop quab? yep. drop it as soon as possible so you can build at that place.. quab will die eventually because of the slope in the mid lane after a while you cant kill waves fast enough before they 1 shot it. So letting it die and build a turtle build around the eggs is best. [[150185,users]] you are wrong about 1 thing, the onslaught drops 690-700 gear just after 8th round, not 15.
  6. If you say that, the tower is utter useless. because the tower itself has 0 synergy with anything.. all it can do is slow a single enemy and even at that it sucks, so in the end all it might be doing is slowing a single kobold for a minimal amount. The tower needs the freeze sphere effect to be embedded in it's core mechanics with some sort of chaining effect as i suggested above. Then it will be atleast usable for what the tower was designed. Frostbite tower is kind of like explosive trap, No one talks about it because none use it without the sphere. Check the dps of your Lightning Auras when enemies being hit by Frosty Towers walk into it. This only works if your apprentice has the weapon "Chilling Touch". Once you have seen this your question will be, "does each extra Frosty Tower stack the effect?" and the answer is "yes" :) You misunderstood me. What i mean is without the frosty power passive and the freeze sphere, the core tower is utter useless like explosive trap. You HAVE to have the passive and the sphere to make it at all usable in anyway. So the core tower needs rework because giving up the weapon choice and the only large sphere choice to make a tower usable at minimum is a major flaw in the mechanics. absolutely not. A slow is a huge dps increase for other towers. adding +5 or even +10 seconds of DPS time before a monster reaches a wall to attack is huge damage up time. in addition to this, it slows the front target, and other targets catch up with it and then get slowed in a stack, which multiplies AOE damage. So the core tower is by definition a dps to other towers, it is the ultimate synergy tower, it just so happens it gets way way better with specific items. However its just really bad at it right now due to the massive down time between casts. Ya thats the ideal case, and thats what it should be doing. but what we got now is it slows only 1 target and due to targeting mechanic, in a bigger lane all it might be doing is slow 1 kobold on the side. Hence I suggested the chaining mechanic which will provide it with a bit more lane coverage, making it close to other CC towers in usefulness(like proton beam).
  7. It is "to X%" no matter what the tool tip states. Because if you think logically 1 passive reducing movement speed by 95%, does not make any sense. So ya.. the lower the better.

  10. mind it the defense buff and the freeze both are not it's own property. the tower itself can only slow and compared to other source of slows its very negligible and also single target. If a tower MUST have a passive and a large sphere to be remotely usable then it obliviously needs rework.
  11. the resistance was fixed per lane in a match. but would change between match. Sounds fun to me with all the new towers we how and it's easier to combo. Was it EVERY lane or just a few? I could see how every lane with resistances could get tiresome. You'd need variety: High HP lanes, double and triple lanes (triple the enemy count), higher enemy damage, flyers, extra bosses, reflect damage (small amount), could make for interesting lane modifiers and add dynamics while fostering tower diversity. every lane had either physical resist or magic resist and the amount was way too much making so that you had to follow it. Otherwise you would deal about 10% damage.

  13. Or... how about a armor melting a.k.a. armor debuff effect. Armor cleanser applies it so it wont be too hard to implement. Would be great if it would reduce enemy armor with each tick. start of with very low debuff and stack up to a good amount if the ticks kept going, would be an awesome strategy to keep the whole lane burning so when they reach the damage towers they take ton of damage cause of the debuff. Not very OP but a fun build.
  14. Well, honestly it sounds like you're just lacking gear compared to him. I would assume he's using the ice needle sphere because it's the only skill he uses when auto attacking and probably the broomnado sphere on his AP witch. Those are the only two that add damage (except the snipe one, but he wasn't sniping) The 30% and 20% won't make you deal 4x more damage though - and that's if even is even using those spheres. It's 99% the pet +gear level, you can see his damage when the buff drops it's normal GW damage. he is using the ice needle to apply witch's mark which increase damage by another 100% its a gear passive.
  15. That wont change the fact that most of the maps are unrewarding. Ok so I have 9 heroes and all of them are geared with 700 ipwr gear and some 720-740 gear. Now when I get in the game, i only have option to play 5 maps to actually get something useful. And even though I like some other maps much more (betsy for example) I cant play then if I am expecting something fruitful. So some times I just get in the game stare at the matchmaking window and remember about the tedious 5 map grinding and close the game and play something else. As I stated above a possible solution can be that every nm4 map victory chest have a chance to drop 750 gear but the odds are smaller for easier map. and also should make the victory chest drop to be 660 minimum so we can farm the build weapons that drop from lower Ipwr maps. All I want is all maps of the game be some what rewarding so you have option to play the maps you really like instead of grinding 5 maps that you may not like at all.
