So why on the website does it say data can be recovered but sometimes not. To be honest, i think that line is for pc players, as a ps4 player you need to backup your own files, youd have more chance at sonys adress then with trendy i think.

No problem, there is a controller scheme in the options menu so if you dont know something about controls, check it there ;)

Then i dont know what happened. But i can assure you it has nothing to do with the update, because your ps4 does not automaticly delete your save files. Wish i could provide you with more help, only thing i could say is to start leveling again . They're not going to send you a new save file.

Where can you setup the filters ? They copy/pasted a bit too much from the pc patch notes ;). This feature is not yet on the PS4 but will surely arrive in one of the future updates.

Still perplexed by this, did you manually delete dd2 save files? (Btw trendy cant fix this, cause they do not store your save files afaik) EDIT-> And i'm not trying to blame yourself, but thats the only logical thing that comes to my mind , if you got PS Plus try redownloading your save files i would say.
