1. The chicken splash damages too and has a melee, on top of that better non hero stats. Realy it is more of an accesory kinda like if you see someone with a chicken fully upgraded you know that mofo's a bamf. (or a nerd) I still agree with the OP that an item's usefulness should be proportional to the difficulty of acquiring it (something trendy has proven to at least partially support, with the giraffe buffs and the chicken buffs so far). In the current "era" of super items, I believe the chicken is still hard enough to acquire to warrant another boost.
2. If you spent as much time being productive in real life as you did on the forums Mr. 707 posts, you might have a chance at doing just that. Off topic, pointless flaming. Ontopic - To fully gear all my characters.
3. Send an email to lostheroes@trendyent.com with details of what happened, steam ID, names and make sure to include a descriptive title. Someone from Trendy then will look into the lost items directly. Should I do this after posting in game issues forum? Or would that be redundant?
4. Today I was in someone's shop trading and I bought 2 items (mail boots and chest) for 5 million mana. I inspected both items to make sure they were as was agreed, and hit confirm. My money was taken, and the other player did receive my money, however I did not receive the items. My first thought was to exit out of the game and go back in, nothing. I really was hoping to start playing again after the whole 7.10 fiasco, but now this happens. I have a screenshot as proof, not that it'll do much good, but it includes both my SteamID and the person I traded with. http://steamcommunity.com

6. I'm going to bump this because trendy doesn't learn. (haven't played 7.10e, but come on...) @ Shinnyshin: It was meant from the point of view of a player who, being part of said community, personally felt the repercussions of Trendy's actions. I was pissed when I wrote this, period. I still am, but it's slowly just turning into dissapointment everytime I have steam open and 10 patches leak through.
7. Actually having this mechanism covers your from scammers that quickly change the number by removing a 0 and then press accept. I do agree however that the max speed should be increased. We need a mechanism for that? I think it's just this way because of a lazy port of the trading system.
8. ^ Definitely the number one problem with 7.10. Gave a lot of the new people a taste of the "good-life" so to speak, which sure enough they didn't exactly appreciate loosing. I think the biggest issue here is that there is now a day's worth of uber items around, and only people who played today/had a day off (on the weekend...) got in on the phat lewts. It was essentially a one day event, albeit an unintentional one, and an unannounced one.
9. Now, to Lol at all the rage threads. =D The rage threads are the reason the loot rate is going back up. Edit - Didn't see the person who said the same thing as me, hadn't refreshed in a bit.
10. I'm sure I am not the only one, but I am getting sick of tired of all the crying and complaining cluttering the general discussion section of the forums. Please consider making a section for people to post their complaints so that we don't have to sift through a bunch of useless threads that complain about things. This would probably make it easier for the devs to find the complaints as well since they will all be lumped together into one section of the forums. Thank you If the patches continue as they are, the entire forum will be a complaint section.
11. Why isn't there a way to type in mana to trade for a trade? The more you raise the mana cap (been raised from 15m since I started) the more it makes sense to just be able to type it in. Do you know how long it takes to hold that damned arrow for 50 million mana?
12. Didn't make it into 7.10b, but we'll do something good for Giraffes in the next patch! -Jer Retroactive I hope? Otherwise so many people's time has been wasted pre-7.11 or what have you.
13. Pretty sure that it can't be fixed as they I don't think they store base values so they had to nerf all weapons. Pretty sure rookie mistakes are something we're used to now. I'll piss and moan and continue playing, but this is seriously incompetence at it's best.
14. Everything elemental got nerfed in my item box. Including the stuff I upgraded in 7.09 (aka with the cap already in place) Cool
15. I paused overnight to sleep at Wave 18 on my last Survival run during a patch push, and was able to go back to it the next afternoon without being kicked offline. And then I lost. Halway through Wave 25. Because I got distracted. I think this would be different, seeing as VAC is involved this time. Honestly I wish I knew for certain, it depends on whether the Steam backend de-authorizes you with TrendyNet at that time -- I don't think so, though. -Jer It would be really nice to know for sure, and not risk a VAC ban or some other penalty (rollbacks?)
16. Quick question - Once the patch comes out for download, is there a penalty for staying online? I'm on wave 15 insane survival
17. I wish people would realize that a majority of people could not be bothered to complain to the authorities which in this case is the developers. A lot of people in this world will dislike certain policies but will still accept them and normalize their life around it. Please stop using the # of people playing in game compared to the # of people on the forums because it doesn't prove anything except that most people can accept changes for the worse. Doesn't mean that whatever happened/changed isn't bad, it jsut means that they are capable of accepting it without complaining. I'm not sure how t
18. So youre proving my point... LOL I will not whine if 1 of the 4 classes gets BALANCED, because I dont RELY on 1 single class to win an insane map for me. I was one of the people asking for elem damage to be nerfed, because it was OP, I was also one of the people suggesting PS get nerfed because it was ridiculous a huntress could stand in the middle of the map with 1420 mana and clear all the lanes with no help. I was one of the people who suggested enrage be nerfed. I was one of the people who suggested auras needed more lifespan/less maintenance. I was one of the individuals who said the
19. I must be too casual a player but I feel like I am playing a different game than most of you complainers. I can't think of a single thing that pissed me off about the game outside of bugs that made the game crash which has happened like 2 or 3 times in 100 hours of my playing it. I have played both by myself and with the 3 friends I gifted the game to so I have been enjoying both sides of the coin there. I am able to solo all but 4 maps on insane (have not even tried them yet). My gear is average for 70 (2 fully upgraded godly items that could probably be better). Really what the he
20. About aa much as you posted... a fact ;) Sure the numbers are down but that means little over the length of the game. Elders scroll just released, dundef was doing like 40k then... when people beat elders, some will come back, some will move on. Over all the games doing quite good... look at other games released in the same tine frame and compare ;) I think any drop in playerbase indicated people aren't content. While skyrim has taken the world by storm, we would be fools to deny that some people are quitting due to trendy's harsh decisions. I understand it's impossible to please every
21. Yea lol... $15 is worth 2 hours of gameplay set by other leading developers these days. For an Indie, this game has offered people .10 on the $, at LEAST, per hour, and with DLC events offered pretty frequently. You suggesting people should even consider asking for a refund this far in due to item/class balance is a freakin joke. Game was good at launch, but not amazing, because of the imbalance. To consistently state otherwise is pure bias and actually shows your subtle ways to whine about the nerfs given to huntress and squire. You had to have had a decent amount of fun playing this game t
22. Down from 20k less than 2 weeks ago, just FYI I rest my case, thank you super_captain. Also, I'm not saying everyone's fed up to the point of quitting. I'm saying many have, and many more will if this continues. I love dungeon defenders, it was an addiction to me. I just can't put up with some things in it any longer.
