So I'm pretty new at this game. Got it in the summer sale. Have completely fallen in love with it. I play it more than I play CSGO, in which I have 400+ hours. Anyways, I'm competitive. I want to get better so I grind a lot. I was playing with my gf and a random the other day when this guy hops into our game. He had 500+ hours in this game when we checked. He proceeds to help us grind and level a few characters (we were having trouble post-73). We return to my tavern and he gives us each 1 billion mana (along with tips on how to get more mana) and a set of armor. This was the set he gave me: http://i.imgur.com/22UxFEy.png

Is it legit? I have no idea what the parameters on armor are, and the fact that all of the tower stats are 420 are kind of sketchy to me.. But then there's the negative stats. Possibly to cover up hacking? He gave me the set for my Summoner, and I'm finally feeling like the players I see running around and boosting, but I have no idea if those players were legit to begin with (keep in mind I'm not only referring to Summoners. Mostly Squires, etc.).

This person proceeded to play with us a few more times (asking us to play with him/offering to help us level up). He was very ****y though and constantly brought up how good he was at the game now, etc. He passed on his behavior as altruism since the game is easy for him now, but I can't help but remain skeptical. If he is hacking, he did a much better job hiding it than a player I played with the other day that had a Monk whose Auras affected the entire map..

It is hacked. I have met some hackers that are nice and are up front about it and others who try to hide it. It is always good to get stuff checked.

What ddace said. The free run group is great for helping newer players most of the runners in the group have between 2000-5000 hours played in the game and a lot will have extra armor lying around to help newer players out

Shops can be nice but you should always get a check before buying, at least for supreme and up so you don't waste a lot of currency.
