Trendy why no Gun Reward for Akatiti?

This isn't bothering anyone else?

I figure it could of been a crossbow of some sort.

I just found it a strange decision to not give the Huntress/Jester/EV/Ranger a specific reward.

Because Clava's are > all other app weapons now.
Glady's are > all squire weapons except good saws / greatswords.
And Sparus's are > all monk weapons except awesome wrenches and E spears.

If they had added hunt weapons, too, there would be literally no point to farming kings and almost no point farming cd or sky to get good weapons, anymore.
I like it.
Cause I'm already missing the holy trinity of good weapons for each class, (CD / sky / King's rewards) and i like that one of the classes is still that way. :D

Clava's aren't the best DPS for App, Classics are the best.

Sparus is indeed the best for Monk hand down.

Your logic is flawed though. Monk gets the best weap from that stage in the game, but the Huntress can't? seems stupid to me.

Anyway CD is trash, not worth the effort to farm a good Eternian Cannon when you get trolled so bad with the RNG in that place. KG is abit better farming wise and Sky City is probably the most fun way to get a good gun though.

Still some more variety for the Huntress would be nice.

Gladius>EGreat swords and saws(saws only beat gladius when they're top notch, even then it's only when hawking)
Sparus>every other monk weapon, nothing beats a ranged sparus.

There is no Huntress reward from Akatiti because Cr4zy didn't make one, presumably due to lack of Mayan-themed ranged weapons. If it bothers you, you should go ask him to make one and maybe Trendy will include it on Ranked. :D

Rather than a crossbow, I think a good version of the dragon's head gun would be quite fitting.

Not that I'm doubting any of you but why are classics better than clavas? I've watched 40k clavas do over 10m dps... on an EV builder. Had like 750 hero attack. Maybe I just haven't seen a good classic but I've never seen one come anywhere near that. Even when the classic has a lot more atk...

In my case, my sup clava is > my ult classic, any day of the week.
Having the chance to drop well over cap helps a lot, too...

The spread is way to wide but it hits insanely hard.
A 20k sparus easily out hits a 50k pole arm.

If I've learned anything in my time lurking the forum it's your tests are usually pretty accurate. But I still would love to see the test. Because Clavas impress me quite a bit.

my 397^ melee e-spear can beat a 400^ ranged sparus.

I'll summarise then ;)

Classics == 14x/^
Clava == 12x/^
Clava doesn't get the ridiculous multiplier of the other two obsidian weapons, so the lower damage actually is lower damage. It does however make a very nice stat stick ;)

Found it!!

Tested, my staff is better. I'll edit in details when I can.

Edit:

Obsidian Clava (395/409^) = 53,461 base damage. (122 per ^ damage increase)
4492 Hero Attack, 91 charge on staff.
Single charge shot = 2,294,165 damage x6.

Average DPS; 23-25mil.


Crested Standard (395/395^) = 61,993 base damage. (147 per ^ damage increase)
4463 Hero Attack, 91 charge on staff.
Single charge shot = 2,653,262 damage x6.

Average DPS; 26-34mil.

Results speak for themselves. Both staffs had a base damage of just over 5k, although my Standard required more ups in charge to reach 91. Two identically stated level 1 staves sitting side by side, the Standard wins, by a lot once fully upgraded.
