Is it just me or is this game crumbling fast? I think when the events ended a lot of players left. To me this game used to be addicting, then it became almost impossibe to level and the final dlc is near impossible and gives a random, usually bad, wepon or pet. In my opinion the game needs to be patched several more times to make it worth grinding the levels to 90. The community has sunken to an alll time low. It is almost impossible to get in a match without getting kiked. In less than a year on consel, i think there will be mabey 5 or 6 lobbys at a time. On pc it will probably last longer but i think no more than 2 years. Trendy, i think, needs to keep improving DD while producing their new game. Or they could just make a DD 2 with a feature to import charcters between the 2 games.

Its just you. Sure events were great, but they weren't what makes DD awesome. The online community is as big as i've ever seen it. Only thing shrinking is forum activity, and I can see why. Its topics like these.

Being from EU where events have never been held i find it hard to even comprehend your point.

don't know what game your playing but the online lobby never that low it's been busy since they have the game away free on psn plus, maybe your to restrictive on the search filter hen looking for games, if your just looking for easy games on deeper well it probably will just offer you 6 games, kicking is the same as its always been, and saying the final dlc is impossible when you haven't leveled your characters up is just stupid, i find aqunos more difficult than them final dlc

people don't usually check the stats of a 74 character and just hit the kick button. Especially if they're only gonna play with 2 people. I do it all the time. Host a game to find a random good person then just play with them and maybe one other, but my connection can't handle 4 so I have to kick at least 1 every time.
Also, try not restricting your search at all when looking for games. It fills up the search page and more, and I've never minded a war of the djin or morrago run on hard where I don't have to build.

It's been over a year since this game was released on psn look at the other games that were released at the same time http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/12/21/heads-up-game-store-update-21st-december-2011/ who's still talking about those? which of those have busy forums?

psn games at this price are generally short and keep you entertained for about a week, dungeon defenders has more replay value that most retail disk games, i'd love them to keep releasing patches to increase the character level, i'd pretty much be playing it forever until i'd reached the cap and and their were no more patches coming, they say this is the last patch so their isn't much life left in it for me but i think i'll still be hooked for another few months, but it had a real good run and was value for money

Totally different story for the Eur guys though i'd have got bored by now, but would start playing again when the eu patch was eventually released

I'm also sick of people playing on medium and hard then moaning that it takes so long to level up lol, play on insane plus if you want to level up quick i have 6 lv 90 characters so it's not impossible, most stages are pretty easy if you and a few friends play with 78+ dps characters, the towers don't matter to much, 2 games on glitter caverns insane plus will get you from from level 0 to level 73 in just 2 games if you don't take any crystal or hero damage

but seriously I am in america never competed in a event. I entered the exp event didn't get picked off the strength of that I lost interest to play the game especially when I heard the exp event by accident gave more exp than they said. So that just made me feel bad but whatevers.

Events ruined the game.... They brought rare items that players dupped it was annoying it drove me to quit console... Event weapons were very much desired it gets annoying when people ask you for your weapons. The game was good when it first came out...They made the exp gaps to huge! I highly doubt one beta tester got to the max level cap... So I seriously don't see why they did this to their own game...

I still think the game is dead. All of my friends quit it because they grew up so much and there is nothing to do. Now I try to find a game on a map I need, but no one plays it anymore. May be my region is dead, I don't know, but I miss the days when I played DD non-stop (24/7). Playing survival, while I'm sleeping. Selling items, while I am at university. Thinking about the game, while I do my exams. It was awesome but not anymore. I think, the game needs more updates, at least 1 in a month with new heroes, items, pets, maps and other general stuff, like better item-shop searching, giving possession on other heroes, new stories, like Eternia Shards and other things. I can't believe there is no updates since December (3 months). In the past updates were 2-3 in a months. Seriously Trendy, you all work on the new game and left this one. Come on, you took the money and threw it on the garbage. Shame on you!

i agree that a lot of people did leave when events finished but they were fun while they lasted

i got corrupted and i hated this game but for some reason i came back O_O

I got this game free, so I can't say it was worth the cost. But I can say if I had paid for it, I would not be disappointed with it. I've had more fun, met with more people (online) and will continue playing it after I've got all the trophies. Very few $60 retail games, many of which have just as many (or more) glitches/bugs as this game, have done that.

If you don't like the game on console, too bad. If you think Trendy needs to do more for you because you gave them 15 bucks, get over yourself. And never go to a movie, with usually less than two hours of entertainment you will be irate about the 15 bucks you just spent.
