Oversized vs smaller weapons?

Recommended Posts

whats the difference? i've seen people specifically request oversized items, or specify that an item is over sized when trading, why?

You will only see the oversized topic when people are trading squire or monk weapons that will be used for dps because of the reasons Djmilos pointed out the larger it is the more enemies you hit with a single strike making it a better melee weapon.

so the size of a huntress or a apprentice weapon does not matter?

Correct since the Huntress and Apprentice do not use melee weapons.

A smaller huntress or apprentice weapon will be preferred.

Larger models can be useless at point blank.

Yea as for huntress if you have a large long weapon and got too close to a mob the bullets won't hit it
specially for the soulfocuser

i like having oversized cause it makes my opponents feel puny when i rush them in PVP with a ginormous Crysknife

I think oversized guns have more range in Assault.
i'll confirm this .. my son got a huge magma furnace from glitter and can easily take out the first towers by the 2nd crystal from the platform. My furnace has higher projectile speed and more damage, but i have to go half-way up the stairs.
