monks are very underrated try a drain strength aura in front of a decent barrier and ranged turrets behind and your gold . place them at every spawn door

tbh squires are good yes but theres a grand illusion that squires can do evrything. each class has its specialty and for the harder levels you need to incorporate a mix of towers and auras not just focus on building from one class.. some maps you dont need to but when the enemies come think and fast you will be thankful you had the aura making the ogre club smash that would break your squire barrier in a few hits take at least 3 times as long to break

At green circles: Spinny Machine (OR Spike Blockades) Backed up with 3 Ballistas.

At Purple circles: a single Ballista.

Win.

NOTE: The additional ballista on the eastern side is to point backwards to protect the inevitable stray mobs that wander up the path.

Optional: Ensnare/Str Drain auras at each choke if you don't have the dps to kill the red ogres fast enough.

EDIT: Got a bit more time, here's what past experience has taught me.

The northern point is fine with just 2 ballista + the wall/spinny thing.
The eastern point is a good spot for a slow aura, put your towers as close to the crystal as possible so there's a lot of space for the mobs to line up for you.

The two central points are probably the strongest/ones you have to worry about least. For the more eastern one, put the walls/ballista at the bottom of the stairs, not on the stairs. For the western one, put the spinny at the bottom of the stairs, with the ballista on the stairs.

The southern point needs a bit of maintenance, the wyverns will occasionally slip by and hit the crystal. Might need to help it every now and then.

The single ballista on the bridge WILL take care of all the wyverns provided you're doing this solo.

For the first build phase, you have enough mana to put a spinny at each location, and have enough left over for 3 ballista.

ill try and explain but its hard to visulaise without the map. but eh the long broken bridge there by the bottom of the stairs on the crystal side build some ranged towers and a barricade in front drop a drain strength in front of the barrier then add 2 ranged towers looking into where the crystal is but place them on the bridge with the one on the left at diagonal right over looking wyvern spawn and the right one diagonal left overlooking that one. make sure their range cone can also see the crystal as well in case some get through. as fior the middle crystal you need both sides cordened off. with same set up the right crsytal in the mines needs barriers on the right hand side and heavily defended with strength drain and ranged support the other side there is a small doorway just down the stairs from the fire hearth place a blocker there and make sure theres ranged support on the other side by ther barrier you put protecting the middle crsytal. the other side is easy place a blocker by the plank where the lava is ranged support strength drain for wyverns put 2 ranged towers overlooking the crstal up high basically the balcony where the chest spawns on either side where the stairs go down put ranged towers on the corner of the rialings. make them in a overlapping x shape like the ones on the bridge. as soon as you see ogres spawn take them down asap!
