[Poll] Thoughts on Super Legendary Costumes

UPDATE: It has been confirmed a speed boost will be granted to the costumes. It is unknown at this time how big or small the boost will be. Look for the upcoming digest.

Good luck with this, made a rant thread some weeks ago, got some attention but mods completly ignored it.

I do agree that the super skins should be AT LEAST the same speed as the normal adult skins, but given that they are end game content and something hard to unlock, they should be scaled much better in everything. It really doesn't matter at this point if the player gets even stronger than before really, if someone beats NM HC Crystalline Dimension, that's more than enough proof that they don't need godlike powers, so boosting the skins isn't an issue to my eyes.
And yes i know some people unlock them by using cheats and hacks, it still proves a point either way, hackers won't give a damn about the skins when they can do pretty much everything on their own already -_-'

Faster, for sure. I'm surprised they haven't responded or considered this point yet. As seems the consensus in every thread related to this so far: by the time you earn these costumes, you have no more progress to make in the game. Having costumes that are the best all-around (health, attack, speed) doesn't seem much to ask. It won't make the game easier by any means. If people want a free ride through the game, they can be carried by high-level friends. This won't make the game easier for either newer players or their high-level friends in that given scenario. It will just give a worthy reward to the players who decide to put in the effort to unlock it. At the speed they are now, the Super Legendary costumes are absolutely pointless to use.

Exactly. They're a "reward" that no one uses. They're a "reward" that handicaps people so badly they aren't worth it. They're a "reward" that everyone despises. They're a "reward" that doesn't.

You just know that they put that speed penalty in there to offset the DPS and health bonuses because they didn't want to make it "too easy" for people using them. Problem is, there's nothing left to do once you're able to earn them. What are they worried about? You're going to get them and all of a sudden you'll finally be able to get that darn "Glitterhelm Insane" monkey off your back?

If you use the costumes to help someone ELSE get something they didn't earn, you could easily have done it with your standard character anyway.

Trendy, here's a little idea I've been working on:

Sometimes, maybe you should just let people have some fun.

Sometimes, there's no need to "make them earn it". Sometimes, there's no need to worry about it "being too easy". Sometimes, you should just ask yourself if it's "fun".

You've lost sight of that. You're too worried about Ultimate armor being "too good" or "dropping too often" that you've forgotten to ask if it's useful AT ALL, drops AT ALL, or if the game stops being fun as you get disconnected from an Aquanos Survival run 3 hours in and still haven't found one useful piece of armor.

Yes, I totally agree.

I would vote for that the hero speed stat should scale to 2000+ and the real toon speed would increase accordingly :)

Am I the only one who finds it ridiculous that the children of the "Heroes of Eternia" run laps around them? If anything from an accuracy & lore perspective the adults should be faster, stronger, wiser, etc etc. Aka superior in every aspect related to combat.
They are combat veterans and some of the most powerful heroes in Eternia, but get outrun by at least 3x the speed by their 5 year-old children. Am I missing something?

By that logic, children of Olympians should be dominating track and field.

(Jetpack EV, Tavernkeep imposter, and all Super Legendary's need to be faster, more durable and do more DPS than all of their other costume counterparts, no question. They are ridiculously hard to get and should be ridiculously good in return. Hero based chars are incapable of making this game unbalanced due to the heavy focus on tower defense/builder dominated gameplay.)

TL:DR Version
A feat like CD NMHC should be rewarded with a faster, strong, more durable costume, as way less than 1% of the player base have/are capable of getting it. That and the parents are SUPPOSED to be badasses in their fighting prime, not washed up has beens that barely run a 15 second 40.
