I read that there was going to be a sequel.

The Hollywood Reporter says Warner Bros is preparing a sequel to Project X with screenwriter Michael Bacall already working on a treatment. Where the sequel will take the story - and who, if anyone, from the Project X cast will be returning - is unknown. THR also says actually getting the sequel past the treatment stage will likely be up to producers Todd Phillips and Joel Silver.
