Do You want new maps

The best thing about DD is playing on new maps and finding out the tactics to beat it, after beating all the maps you kind of run out of things to do i find myself running around the tavern thinking of what map to play instead of just getting on with it.

Now i know we can always play open, but i prefer Ranked for many reasons it would be nice to see the workshop maps balanced and placed into ranked. Map creation is allot easier than an entire new expansion.

If trendy decide to make their own maps i would gladly pay the $2 tag because they have done an amazing jop so far despite all the flaws the maps themselves are works of art.

So i ask you:

1.Happy with current maps.

2.Workshop maps in ranked play.

3.Happy to pay for new maps. (made by trendy)

I think having more workshop maps in ranked would be great. I was hoping Palantir would start a trend, but I realized it was a contest winner (implying it would be a one-time thing). There's even a thread on the general forums right now with a new tavern which looks totally amazing; I'd love to have something like that installed into ranked.

I saw this tavern and i realy like it the current tavern is so small and very congested a larger one would be great.

The only problem I would have with new maps is that they might be "balanced" in the same way as King's Game, that is, with a sledgehammer instead of a artisan's chisel.

I can live with that each time i play Kings i get a bit further, good point tho lets wait and see ^^

More maps from workshop, you can find great ones there. If Trendy make more maps, I'd be gladly to pay for them too, but please, small maps, not huge ones D=

The maps i would love to see are Solo-able maps that are just as fun with more players and when playing alone ... atm some maps are just to much to handle alone and some maps are to small for 4 players even. Perfect size i think is something like Magus Quaters or Ramparts thoes are nice sizes.

Though I am happy to pay for new maps made by Trendy, I would also love to see the featured Workshop maps as well.

Right? Trendy should hire another team to investigate Steam Workshop maps for featuring them in Ranked. Loadse maps could be implented then.

I would be happy to pay for new maps like the chess one,but only if they fix progression in nm mode first.

How to make this:

Option A: Workshop maps (the good ones) beign featured on ranked, previously supervised by trendy to avoid the "cheat maps"

Option B: Everyone will move to open and just kick all the cheaters. Actually the game its exactly the same and you can skip the mana grind.

Option C: Dungeon Defenders 2

I think that Trendy its done making new maps for this one, thats why they released the whole DDK. Its like "now its up to you".

I have loaded a lot of hours into this game, and have no problem paying for a game I enjoy. I am more than willing to support companies that offer products that I value since it keeps them in business, so they can continue making those things.

More maps please, you're doing a good job imo trendy! Keep up the good work!

I'd rather not have a DD2 unless we're able to import our characters and dlc from DD1 after completing the base campaign levels. That's one thing I loved about Little Big Planet 2. All those things you purchased, downloaded and, in some cases, created were still fully functional in the sequel.

Agreed. The other requirement would be games NOT ENDING when Steam (or Trendynet) glitches.

I understand that you can't prevent Steam or Trendynet from having occasional issues, and even the internet between you and them, but because of this the code needs to PLAN for it. Pause the game, wait for reconnect, give the OPTION to abort if you want. Save it so you can restore later. I don't care. Anything but killing a 4 hour game right before you get the reward because Steam 'scheduled' downtime with a whole hour's warning.

I can joke about it (except when it happens) but it would be a deal breaker. And I've bough the game, all the DLC and MANY copies to gift to friends. At full price even!

Honestly I do not want any new maps. Dungeon defenders is a fantastic game the way it is they could go off and do the tavern keepers chronicles but I feel it's in their best interest not to make any new maps. Although I would love to see trendy create a new game.

Or spinoff on a new etherian quest such as the tavern keepers chronicles but make the entire game revolve around the tavern keeper.
