My first giraffe on NM HC survival ALchemy. been on pc for bout 3 weeks

That is just terrible luck... although that other man's genie is like punishment from a former life.

It's funny, too, because when you play Insane HC: you're guaranteed a good giraffe (all decent positives and with over 100 upgrades.) When you play on Nightmare HC: you're almost guaranteed the opposite. I've found some 12 Nightmare giraffes so far, they were all crap. I think all but one of them was worth 53 mana, too. -_-

I have a mate who ever since he started keeps a folder in his player shop called 'The Box of Shame'.

He keeps it regularly updated with the worst of the worst in each type of equipment. I know he has a giraffe in there.

We play with the voice support through steam..never fails to get a laugh when I say 'so did you get a good one?' at the end of something like sky city campaign and there is an exasperated sigh followed by 'well there's a new exhibit for the box of shame'

Edit: I have dared him to put together a set of the worst of the worst and show up in a public game (maybe a monster fest) wearing it ;) still waiting for him to take up on it.

Ran another friend through one, and they got a good one as well. It's just my own that always end up as 53 mana stinkers when I do NMHC. -_- And from hearing many similar stories to mine, it seems the chances of a good giraffe on NM are extremely slim.

I mean, I've gotten a majority of Giraffes with 300 to each tower stat, most of the time it's negative to radius, but that's workable. I've only gotten a few terrible ones.

yea thanks guys, i really think its funny, i didnt care about the giraffe me and my wife were doing the run to fill the bank :) 600m plus on one run of alchemany NM HC... i think it was worth our time, so we could level up some stuff along the way. i ve played tons of time on the ps3 farming stuff, multiple level 83 characters and lowest now is a 79 on the other guys, just stopped playin ps3 to try it on computer i must say we like it alot better (of course i still use the ps3 controllers on the computer so i feel its the best of both worlds)

Sadly the answer is yes. I have also gotten some very good ones.

Range can be evil at times and giraffes are a crap shoot of epic proportions!

Surprisingly some of my best have come from NM pure strategy.

Hang in there and keep trying hopefully you will get a good one .

I got one the other day where the only positive was Hero Speed.. D:
