Lordraviel 0 Posted July 10, 2012 What sort of multiplier do you get out of it. If it is good I may have to break out a Monkey + Propellor Cat Summoner and give it a go. I don't expect it will do anywhere near the damage of a monk but it would have the support of boosting allies.

Like, hero attack, or %, if it's % you're asking it's 100 + (number) Mine is 169% cause it's 69.

Ceron 0 Posted July 10, 2012 The one I'm giving me is about a 20% boost. For comparison, my Seahorse is worth about five of my Barbarian using his autoattacks. Further, the Seahorse pierces, and is always shooting things even if I'm repairing, upgrading, or not in range of enemies. In short: garbage. Also, the additional targets seems to upgrade on 30. So anything less than 90 will be worthless. The only thing it has going for it is it works with Hero Boost.
Actionx1 0 Posted July 10, 2012 Yeah same here. Pretty worthless boost. What does this pet do exactly. First stat says "CLIP AMMO" Second stat says "RELOAD SPEED BOOST" Third stat says "ADDITIONAL PROJECTILES" -type R blood-

ManeFlame 0 Posted July 10, 2012 Oooooh, hero boost pet. Must have.
Ceron 0 Posted July 10, 2012 That it boost hero dps and not pet dps? It does boost pet DPS, but that's beside the point. It's the relative damage between the two setups. Anything less than a full group of four players is a DPS loss compared to just using a DPS pet. Even then, that assumes you're all huddled up to receive the benefit of it all of the time. The boost it gives is a joke.
Dingle 0 Posted July 10, 2012 Found it in DDDK. The formula is Damage = Damage * (1.1 + (((Boost Stat/20)^0.8)*0.05)) The pet's boost stat is capped at 200. It may be able to drop with higher values, but like Guardian boost doesn't improve above 40, this pet's boost doesn't improve above 40. For the record, the maximum boost (at 200) this pet gives is 1.415 - 41.5% additional hero damage. It seems to be geared more towards Insane difficulty, where pets aren't buffed and heroes aren't nerfed.
Ceron 0 Posted July 10, 2012
* Propeller Cat Pet Hero-damage-buffing and effective range increased by 33%
Brings it up to 56%, which would make it about break even for a group of three but with all of the same drawbacks. Still useless.
