UltimateJorts 0 Posted June 19, 2012 Is it possible to have two accounts signed in on the same computer playing spit screen dungeon defenders ??????????
Fewd 0 Posted June 19, 2012 You can do that with one account, get a controller that works for your computer and press start on the character screen.
Masema 0 Posted June 19, 2012 No, you can't have 2 accounts. You can have multiple players from the same account, though. That's the one thing I miss from the PS3, the ability to have my kids on separate accounts, with their own item boxes & characters.
UltimateJorts 0 Posted June 19, 2012 I know I can do that I want to know if I can do that but I'm signed in on the keyboard but my friend signed on the controller

imported_some_guy 1 Posted June 19, 2012 I prefer dual monitors. On one I can play Dungeon Defenders and on the other I can watch Jurassic Park.
islandboy84 0 Posted June 19, 2012 This is all theoretical I haven't tested it, but it should work. You would need to have a VM running with another OS and steam running on that CPU. I.e. I have a win 7 machine and run a virtual machine (VM) of win xp in it using virtualbox. I can put that other Virtual PC on my second monitor and sign in with another steam account there which of course means you should be able to download Dungeon defenders on second computer(VM). I havent ever tried running 2 games at once but I dont see why it wouldnt be possible with the VM approach if your hardware could handle it.
Lourishinfox 0 Posted June 19, 2012 Sandboxie it. I Don;t suggest it if you have a slow or mid-average comp.
SyDiko 0 Posted June 19, 2012 The answer is no, you cannot run 2 steam accounts on the same machine. Virtualization and Sandboxing are for the person that won't accept no for an answer. An unsupported work around if you will. Just keep in mind that neither methods are meant for gaming, and nor are they supported.

And I believe to know that virtual machines don't support graphic intensive operations such as games very well. Also with vm you'll need a second display. SyDiko 0 Posted June 21, 2012 This! And I believe to know that virtual machines don't support graphic intensive operations such as games very well. It's like trying to run a game over RDP, it's pretty much unplayable. You'll be able to run 2 steam accounts, but you won't be able to play the games.
