Anyone else having unlocked shops and floor items stolen?

^ There is a HIGH limit of items on the floor, recently increased, Trendy obviously intends the floor to be used for displaying items.

Things are getting deleted from your AFK shop? That another story, I thought we were talking about the floor.

I came back from an AFK shop session only to find my shop unlocked and all my floor items missing.

First off, saying that its what Trendy intended or didn't intend is really ridiculous. I'm sure they intend their code to be bug free, but it frequently isn't. So what they intend and don't intend is up to debate. All sorts of people make claims about what they intended after the fact to cover things up. You/We can't always verify these claims.

Second off, save your personal crusades against floor shop/token sellers. You're not going to persuade anyone to think your way, and it's not going to change regardless of what "Trendy intended". I'm sure if their caps of 2 billion and 600 million mana were different, we'd just find another way to sell expensive items for large amounts. Can't upgrade those pets for cheap when they are starting to cost over 50 million mana per level and its only at level 170/320. It's just a matter of inflation and you don't have to like it, but who really does?

No, the real point is that if peoples shops are being unlocked, this is when hackers are really starting to influence others game play and it's going to have a real impact on the game. Previously they were only hurting themselves. Now they can infect others with their malicious gameplay choices. That's the real issue and that's what you should focus on.

First off, you should take your own advice about 'crusades.'

and secondly, if the player base following these 'work-arounds' won't change, then you can expect Trendy to pidgeon hole them into their intended design.

When that happens, please don't come crying to the forums. Actually, scratch that, please complain! I will have my 'deal with it' gif ready for each thread made before it's locked. :)

We have no evidence of this even happening! That said, until any real evidence is shown, I'm going to go ahead and assume the OP forgot to lock their tavern floor and they were robbed because of it. Which is unfortunate, but that goes back to my main point.

PS - I'm leaving it at that, as we're just going to go around in circles.

It's NOT a gamble though.

If you lock your tavern, you should be able to go to bed knowing that everything is A-OK. Finding out that the lock didn't work and you lost everything on the floor isn't the same as willingly going out and gambling.

Yes and to the dood sayin its like gambling...He has no idea what he is talking about circumventing the tavern lock isnt gambling its hacking so if i wanna lay my tokens or garbage on the ground it should be safe if i lock it PERIOD

couldn't agree more. you do remember how fast i found out how it was done and let trendy know. i just hope someone does the same on this occurance. its either a hack or a bug. either way it needs to be stoped

This is the reason why I never leave anything on my tavern floor so things like this does not happen to me.

Oh I know and I agree with you Jue but Hackers are very persistent so I just play it safe.
