Actionx1 0 Posted June 14, 2012 Just wondering; 1) what graphics card you guys use to run the game? And 2) does it ever drop frames drastically? A) what map or during what action?
Fewd 0 Posted June 14, 2012 I use an ATI HD 6750. I only lag due to having 2gb of RAM. Usually any map in NM difficulty due to the amount of action going on.
Gashen-Sai 2 Posted June 14, 2012 Gtx 560ti 1.2gb,3.6ghz fx-4100, 8gb ddr3 ram. Never have drops in frame rate on max all settings in DD unless every trap on the map goes off at the same time and only for a moment. On a side note I don't have karaki jungle or sky of love, so I don't know what would happen there.
Vaust Kilerain 0 Posted June 14, 2012 Geforce 460 GTX Everything on high. Drops aren't frequent aside from Karathi..
ReaPxKinG 0 Posted June 14, 2012 1. Sapphire HD 6850 1GB 2. Yes, on some maps. 2a. On large maps like Cliffs, Aquanos, Shipwreck, Talay, Jungle, and so on. I guess I'm gonna need a better graphics card or another HD 6850. Cause 12 FPS (on low settings) is surely unplayable.
K3vX 0 Posted June 14, 2012 I have two computers. 1. Nvidia GTX 570, i7-2600k @4ghz, 8gb of RAM. 2. Highest settings. Never dropped a single frame, even when I host a 4 player game, even if it's a slaughter. 1. ATI Radeon HD6850M, i5-2430, 8gb of ram (Laptop). 2. High settings, does get a bit slower when there is a lot of action, like traps or App. tower or a cluster**** of enemies :P.
/4n!114 ][c3 0 Posted June 14, 2012 1. radeon 4670 1gb, with 8 gigs of ram 2. i do suffer framerate drop, usually on any map that i play, because i use traps, auras, and fireball towers. most times it plays rather smooth though, only getting really bad when i have a whole lot of traps going off in one area. i couldnt tell you what a proximity mine actually looks like when it fires, because i almost always lose the first 10 frames of the activation animation. Gashen-Sai 2 Posted June 15, 2012 @ReaPxKinG---Quote didn't work Something doesn't seem right lol, are you sure its not using an on board video card? I'd think a 6850 would play the game much better unless your cpu/ram are lacking?
Actionx1 0 Posted June 15, 2012 HD 6850 with an i7 with 6gb of ram I get lag when I stack 3 auras When I have MM and fire towers firing at the same time with traps near by. I'm gonna upgrade tomorrow, that's why I want experiences with your cards. -type R blood-
Quetzalcoatl 0 Posted June 15, 2012 GTX 260 with core i5-35700K w/ 16gb of ram. high settings with post processing off, never have issues with graphics lag / frame drops. I think the game is more CPU intensive then graphics intensive as I saw a huge improvement in terms of no longer having frame drops when I upgraded from a phenom x4 to my core i5. My video card didn't change.
CrzyRndm 0 Posted June 15, 2012 Heh, Radeon HD5770 1GB, 8GB RAM, Phenom II X4 @3.4GHz Perfectly smooth under any circumstances on any of the original maps, misty, and morrago. Gets slightly choppy on OMF, aquanos, and CitC with auras and traps everywhere. Karathiki I can play on with acceptable FPS, but I remember hosting really chopping up (As such I havent hosted recently). EDIT Maxed DD settings including 1920x1080 res

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 810 2.6GHz Ram: 8GB I know this should be enough but still lags T-T
Warmonger 0 Posted June 15, 2012 GTS 250. Runs perfectly, until I activate 4 controllers during building phase (combat is fine).
Alhanalem 62 Posted June 15, 2012 ATI Radeon HD 4850 Always lag free.same here pretty much. Antialiasing off though. (I don't actually care much for antialiasing at high resolutions anyway) 4GB RAM AMD Phenom X4 3.0 ghz

MiniMinhMo 0 Posted June 15, 2012 1) NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 (PNY) (All settings on the max) 2) A little frame rate drop when using 4 Xbox 360 controllers.
Rexx 0 Posted June 15, 2012 AMD Radeon HD 6770 No drop in framerate playing @1920x1080 with settings maxed
BladeMyth 0 Posted June 15, 2012 Nvidia 560 GTX 2 gig, 12 gig ram, i7 The only map out of all the ones currently available that I get FPS drops in are in City in the Cliffs, which doesn't really make a lot of sense, and the lag stops once the mobs stop spawning (I tried by having a friend make nothing but really strong EV beam walls and the second the mobs stopped coming the lag stops) which makes me thing it's the map not my PC. Forgot to mention, this is with all settings maxed on 1280x720 (go go old small widescreen monitor.)
SyDiko 0 Posted June 15, 2012 Desktop - GTX 570 (Never Lags) - Thinking about selling this card and hop into a 670 reference model, to install a better GPU cooler. Laptop - GT 555M (Never Lags) Old Laptop - HD 6470M (Lagged on low.)

Walsh 3 Posted June 15, 2012 GTX 680. Whenever there is an aura within sight i get hella framedrops. Lol, really? I get no FPS drops on a ATI 4250M with stacks of auras. Odd.Thinking about selling this card and hop into a 670 reference model, to install a better GPU cooler. A 7970 is an option too.
derpsquad 0 Posted June 15, 2012 CPU: AMD Phenom X4 810 2.6GHz Ram: 8GB I know this should be enough but still lags T-T Check your drivers make sure they're updated. I used to run this on a 4850 before i got my 7850 and it went without lag except sky of love.
