Demoness

Well it seems like she has less hp and moves faster than the male summoner. My male summoner had 55k hp and my female has 35k, also summoning in combat does seem a bit faster.

i feel like she flies faster than the summoner levitates, but havent tested it...

I think she does and it seems that the flight time is the same.

I've seen Icearrow (Trendy Mod) with a Demoness Flying with the Wyverns, with a chicken and a Djinnlett, over lava. It appears she is faster.

Demoness does fly faster, she runs faster, and has less hp. Stat base: 175 male has 200.
Male is slower but with more hp.

all female characters run faster, all male characters have more hp. (only one I am not sure of is the barbarian, never wanted to have a female barb, I went with a viking look)

Well it seems like the Rock pet doesn't affect the flying of a Summoner.

If your a good summoner you may spend most of your time in overlord mode anyways but the sad truth is that attack speed caps really early, attack range seems to cap early, and minion speed is not really needed much for most people.

So most of the stats from the rock pet would go to waste.

I find to be the best summoner possible it means having a genie and a dps pet on. This lets me get mana easily to provide upgrades/repairs, and summon things. Its too dangerous to run out and grab mana but the genie and dps pet grab it for you easy, so you can stay in overlord mode till you need mana, pop out and get some mana and then go back again.

Too dangerous? Jump and fly over the lanes, you'll vacuum up mana like mad. As long as you keep moving, only the ninjas are dangerous.

I went with a "Red Sonja" barb, she moves faster, has less hp :) I actually like that, since I can get into melee faster this way.

Casting rate is reported to be identical.

If she flies a little faster I am yet to spot it.

Just curious, has anyone else noticed that she only has 4 fingers on each hand?

Well unluess ninjas start swinging in mid air your 100% safe.

They both had more than 100 speed, yes (like 400 and 600)
Speed caps at 100 on every character
