Progression (again)

Have been playing for a few months now and for the last few weeks my goal was to solo omf and be able to get on to survival misty
My stats for most my characters is between about 1000-1300 with my main builder a squire being 1/1.8/1.6/0.6k and ev with 2200 wall hp
I can now do omf easily (I can afk the last 3 waves) but after about 20 runs I am not getting any better stuff except 1 or 2 pets
Also did mistymire survival up to wave 23 but the stuff I got was so bad (much worse than omf) that I am reluctant to try again ...
I know my stuff isn't that great mid end myth mostly
Was wondering what the best place to look for better stuff would be as I thought misty dropped some decent stuff after wave 20 but it was so bad that I kinda lost hope in it

I would say keep doing Misty survival with mixed mode on, you will get better items at lower levels, but it will be harder. With Mixed Mode, I generally start seeing better stuff around wave 22-24, without mixed its normally waves 26+

I went from 800/1.2k/800/1k to 1k/2.1k/1.4k/1.4k on my countess using misty survival and am still getting better stuff every few times I run it. I've done it about 6 times so far to wave 29 with mixed mode and 4 times to finish without mixed mode.

The drop there is pretty great. You can start finding trans as early as wave 13 (my best anyways) but the good trans are after wave 20.

Don't do mixed mode. Mixed mode has 5% better loot for like 20% increase in difficulty. You can get to 2k+ stats from Hardcore and you should not be doing Mixed Mode until you can clear Hardcore completely. The marginal increase in loot is not worth the extra difficulty.

Continue doing Misty, you must have had bad luck. You can get gear from wave 17-23 that'll get you to at least 1500-1800 stats, maybe even 2k. You wont get there in one run though, it takes several. Trans starts dropping as early as wave 13-14, but I usually don't see it until 17+. Just keep at it, you'll get there.
