I like it. Wouldn't it be kind of awesome to find an accessory for each slot (and a weapon/armor for their respective slot) with no stats in them? You could be level 83 and running in gear with no stats.

No it doesn't. IT doesn't need any stats. These things aren't meant to have high stats. They're for visuals, to make yourself look cooler or sillier, in addition to your costume. It's not useless... Well, maybe if you're looking for one with stats. But if you want something that looks good, it's not useless.

As soon as you have an item with stats, the one with higher stats will always be better than the other ones.

I would much rather wear a +50 checkered pink cube (the common placeholder model) rather than a really awesome +0 item.

They were always implimented to be cosmetic, the stats are just a minor addition so that TE can give people that don't care about cosmetics a reason to use them too. What would be the point in adding three extra stats item slots? None what-so-ever.

You are not required to wear these if you don't want to but personally I love the change. If I like the look of a mask with +10 to stats, i'd use it over one with +20. Why? Because +10 to a stat makes no difference what so ever :P

Guys, even Eggs have 1 point to defense. That makes no sense, when we can pick up a facemask with no stats.

They were meant to be cosmetic from the get go. The stats they were added so to give you a small bonus. Just because it doesn't have stats doesn't mean it's useless. It's still serving its purpose, which is to make your character unique.

You can probably sell items wit no stats for more then items that have even one negative stat.

Also consider that some people have payed like 100mil for accessories that have all negative stats, mostly because they wanted that accessory with that appearance. The stats on most accessories aren't high or low enough to matter, it's mostly about taste.

If you depend on an accessory for the 10 points you can get from it, then you are really not looking at them from a fun point of view.

When dual weapon heros can use them also, and the stats don't ever get all that high, it doesn't seem like it will offset having that second weapon.

They might have figured that being able to equip the second weapon on some hero's can let them add several more item slots for any character. So those dual weapon pros caused them to figure out how to add accessories, but I don't think items with stats that low would come close to offsetting an extra weapon.

Main thing I can see that would make this worth complaining about is that if there's NO stats, you can't truly level the item up.

And the number 1 reason I see for leveling up accessories PERIOD is to give them a more personal name. You can't name an accessory if you can't finish leveling it up because it has no stats.

Even a -1 in a random stat is better than NOTHING at all.

Anyway. To be honest, I think so long as they have other stats like tower HP or hero attack, it's fine. If it has no stats, then it's useless, while if it has only resistances it's useless. Why do I say this? Because... I have a shield, and I can't upgrade the resistances. I've tried, and it does not work. If it's a bug, I hope they fix it. Makes a shield kind of pointless if I can't make it resist stronger hits, ya know?

I've found accessories with all negative stats and no upgrades. But then I've found some really good ones that just look like crap so I refuse to wear them. Just pray to the RNG gods.
