arasfang 0 Posted April 28, 2012 Hi! Currently if EV buff beam is on top of a trap, you can't target beam until you upgraded the trap to same level as the beam. I usually want to upgrade all buffbeams to tripplestar as fast as possible and it is very annoying that I then have to upgrade all traps simultaneous? :/ If EV beam is inside aura and you mouse-over on the end of the buff beam you can upgrade it and not the aura, make same true for traps? I mean if you target the end of a buff beam that is on top of a trap, you should be able to upgrade the buffbeam and not get the trap as the only possible target? Thanks beforehand! darlingm 0 Posted April 28, 2012 Unable to target is annoying due to not being able to upgrade. Also annoying due to not being able to see how many towers it says are being buffed. Sound familiar? :-P Exactly! Then have to switch characters again, blah. And, if you were stupid enoguh to upgrade some of the towers you have to sell to unbury it, then you're really pissed. Not sure this is true, amittedly in my counter-case there was a stack of traps and a proxy was one of them, but the game kept targettibng gas traps before proxys before buff beams.... What 0 Posted April 28, 2012 Also, you can't interact with reflect walls that are on Proxies at all until the Proxy is fully upgraded. n ot sure about other traps. I had to sell 2 proxies to get rid of my reflects in a Deeper Well NM HC Survival. Got rolled a few waves later by an ogre steamroll. :( OgreRoll'd Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
LJMjollnir 42 Posted April 28, 2012 oh god yes.. this needs fixing.. i got pretty much the same result on DW aswell as the last guy... its not fun trying to repair a wall when the repair tool just wants to repair a trap thats only lost 1-2 charges but the wall is at 5% and has the red lightning effect pouring out of it.. and no trying to select the wall to repair at this point is impossible you have ~1 sec window before being hit but that tiny amount of time on repairs would make all the difference and upgrading buff beams with prox is so annoying.. specially since all my NM builds use a buffed prox for spiders. Exactly. My usual repair tactic is hitting 4, clicking, when it's done or interrupted, 4/click again. Only in emergency situations do I actually try to target something, and exactly like you're saying, when you're going to get interrupted, it's a PITA. ste303 0 Posted April 28, 2012 EV buff beams are messed, not to hijack y our thread but heres the problem I've been having. Specifically on misty, but it has happened to me on both ALCHEMIC LABS survival and SPIRES too. Same old story, mob kills trap ontop of buff beam, buff beam vanishes. See this ok and designed to happen. Whats not ok is when the buff beam dies it DOES NOT refund you the DU cost. This doesnt happen every single time, but it happens enough to annoy the cr#p out of me. Some of these builds rely on EVERY single DU (ie misty). I read a similiar problem someone was having with the SKY O LOVE DLC, i dont have that DLC but its definetly happening in campaign and misty. Please sort this one out... Smallest is highest priority: 1 - Buff beam (since only nodes targetable) ... second last - Traps last - Auras Cursor jumping (for controller users) should follow the same rules.
