Here's an idea... buff instead of nerf enemies

Recommended Posts

So... umm yeah, every new shards DLC unique monster has required a massive nerf and usually in a short period of time. So why don't we learn from history and start by making the new enemies less ridiculous and make them weaker to begin with and buff them if they are too easy to beat.

Just saying there seems to be a pattern here...

Then people complain that the early testers had an easier chance to beat a new level...
or like with the level 78 exp ramp, faster level up...
it goes on...

If you start weak and get stronger, people are mad. If you start strong and get weaker, people are happier.

I get the feeling that's actually very true at a deeper psych level too.

This. You think there's rage now? Imagine if Trendy increased the difficulty of enemies because they were too easy...

Well, considering they give good loot drops for people who get in on new loot early and then nerf it completely within a few weeks, they already do that but much worse... so your point is moot.

The nerfs on the new monster looks huge. 50% this, 66% that, 25%->10%...was the game even loaded up and played once before they released this?
