If you don't like your DL speed, change the download server in the settings until you download it, then you can change it back. (Choose one, where shouldn't be a lot of ppl downloading)

Patch is live for complete dlc owners

Almost finished downloading - its 9pm here - long night ahead :)

Downloaded patch - no errors when installing...

When I go and look at the new shards level, and 3 challenge levels, it says "Get!" instead of "Go!"
When I click on the button, it brings me to the DLC content page to buy the shards pack.
I doubled checked to make sure I did in fact get the shards collection, which I did.

Rebooted the game a few times but still a no go for the new content :/

You probably have to wait until it's unlocked in the steam store before you can use it
