SyDiko 0 Posted April 19, 2012 To keep it simple, I grouped the consoles and phones/tablets. And, you can also select multiple choices too.
Ak xSkater 420 0 Posted April 19, 2012 I like the console version better, we have a tight knit community that PC just cannot beat!
icygrin80 0 Posted April 19, 2012 Console only player here. I find the thought of starting PC to be too daunting. I leveled up a Squire to lvl 14 and stopped knowing that I would need to put in another 30-40 hours to even have a viable endgame toon for PC.
SyDiko 0 Posted April 19, 2012 I don't know how you console players can manage the precision with controllers. Its hard enough as it is with a mouse/keyboard. :)
Jacob00001 0 Posted April 19, 2012 I don't know how you console players can manage the precision with controllers. Its hard enough as it is with a mouse/keyboard. :) Because we have an auto aim when looking in the directin, but we have such a close knit community

Its hard enough as it is with a mouse/keyboard. :) We don't know how you can manage to play comfortably by moving around with a keyboard. It's way easier to move by using a controller. xD

GOKUPP 0 Posted April 19, 2012 I have the game on PC,PS3 and android. I find I greatly prefer the PC version. I play with a Xbox 360 control pad though. I have a standard ps3 pad for my ps3 and my fingers get tired and keep slipping off the shoulder buttons so The ps3 version dose not get much use. As for android touch screen sucks end of story! happyguy3216 0 Posted April 20, 2012 Trendy you have to see now that we the console players arent one third of the population and deserve more attention!!!

Guizmus 0 Posted April 20, 2012 I find I greatly prefer the PC version. I play with a Xbox 360 control pad though. Same, PC with Xbox controler is niiiiiice to play. Only down side imo is that you have to be near an item to look to it, making going through loot very long and boring, more than with a mouse.Trendy you have to see now that we the console players arent one third of the population and deserve more attention!!! Not sure less than 200 votes is of any value ^^ They have the sales number, that should be a lot more precise ;)
SyDiko 0 Posted April 20, 2012 Decent results!Trendy you have to see now that we the console players arent one third of the population and deserve more attention!!! I don't think Trendy is ignoring the consoles, it just costs a tad bit more $$ to supply you guys with updates and content.
Shaedow 0 Posted April 20, 2012 Trendy you have to see now that we the console players arent one third of the population and deserve more attention!!! I find it funny that when I read this console was at 33.33% - can't get any more exactly a third now can we? :P But I don't see how you use a controller for this - placing towers with one is just awkward, and I dislike moving using two joysticks for aiming, just unpleasent xD
Bogdanov89 1 Posted April 20, 2012 PC only player here. Btw, as far as PC version goes, you can get up to level 70+ in under an hour of playing - just join one of the numerous Glitterhelm Insane servers.
AusSkiller 0 Posted April 20, 2012 I don't think Trendy is ignoring the consoles, it just costs a tad bit more $$ to supply you guys with updates and content. I'm pretty sure it doesn't cost extra money to release patches/DLC on consoles (apart from development time), it's more likely to be the restrictions of the console platforms. It's been a while since I last worked on a 360/PS3 game but I remember there were some annoying restrictions on updates and DLC back then, especially for 360, things like patches needing to be only a few MB in size and limits on the total number of patches per title, but this was several years ago and now that the 360s aren't being sold without HDDs (requiring the 32mb memory cards for patches/saves ect.) things might have improved a bit but then again it is MS so I doubt it's improved much. Yotsuboxer 0 Posted April 21, 2012 Decent results! I don't think Trendy is ignoring the consoles, it just costs a tad bit more $$ to supply you guys with updates and content. *Ahem* The first patch was a freebie for them, and that's all they've really done so far since release outside the shards DLCs. What I don't understand is why TE hasn't re-released the game on consoles to immediately catch up with the PC and make cross-platform play somewhat viable in the future. We'd have to re-download the game but that's better than seven hundred million patches, right?
UltimateJorts 0 Posted April 21, 2012 I would just like to tell trendy when DD3 comes out i think your going to lose a lot of your PC community I'm just saying!
CinderDragon77 0 Posted April 21, 2012 I would just like to tell trendy when DD3 comes out i think your going to lose a lot of your PC community I'm just saying! I think you mean D3, and yeah we'll see how many of them are on DD on PC when it comes out, they have competition for games like this on PC, on consoles they don't really have any competition for a game like this, so if they would've/would advertise(d) a little better, then they could have people playing/buying the game and DLC if you could put more effort into it for the console game, more cost or not their are many more potential players on the console, if they would/would've support(ed) it. AusSkiller 0 Posted April 21, 2012 ...and make cross-platform play somewhat viable in the future. DO NOT WANT!!!! Cross platform with 360 requires that the PC version uses Games For Windows Live, which is just TERRIBLE and the steamworks features would have to stop being used like voice chat and replaced with inferior GFWL ones. And then there's the whole instability of the Live platform, it's worse than steam so you'll never get through all 30 waves of survival without disconnecting. And given that MS don't allow their Live service to run on the PS3 it means that PS3 users will be left out of cross platform play. Going cross platform with PS3 is MUCH better than the 360, steam has already been allowed in part on the PS3 so it may be possible to keep the steamworks features, and it won't have any specific requirements that would wreck the PC version. Of course since you can't release DLC and patches on consoles at anywhere near the same frequently as on PC and both PC and PS3 would need to be running the same version with access to the same DLC it means that the it would reduce the number of patches and DLC releases would be reduced to something like once a month, and with the time it takes to go through the console submission process holiday DLC and hotfixes would not really be feasible anymore for PC because it needs to be kept in line with the PS3 version. It would also only be cross platform for PS3 users leaving out the 360 users, this would mean trendy would really have to separate the console versions which would create a lot more work for them. Sony and Microsoft have pretty much made cross-platform play impossible or at the very least undesirable, which is why there's only very few games that have attempted it and as far as I know none were any good anyway due to the balance issues of PC players being too much better than console players, though this being a teamplay game would not have suffered from that.
