Jaws_420 1,016 Posted April 10, 2012 I built every single tower and wrote down all stats, and then upgraded them in full before the patch and after. I also tested special skills that can be meausred with numbers easily. Here are the results. All numbers used are my character's numbers, so i'll post percentages so everyone can relate. I made no changes to charcters inbetween observations. General Notes - Patch is v1.02 - About 104 MB in size - DLC pets still cannot be deleted - All previous made Animus using one stat upgraded are retroactively fixed (1 Billion now < 200k) - *exploit deleted* -classicApprentice - no change to Mana bomb, weapon base/elemental damage Magic Blockade - N/C Magic Missle - Rate of fire has been reduced 8.7% * Pre-result 0.23 fire rate, is now 0.25 * Full upgrade to MM rate is then 0.23, so fully upgraded MM rate is now what the old MM rate was at no upgrades. * DPS up 33% (pre was 886 [591 dmg @ 0.23 rate], post is 1182 [591 dmg @0.25 rate]) Fireball - Rate of fire has been reduced 8.5% * Pre-result 0.7 fire rate, is now 0.76 * Full upgrade to FB rate is then 0.7, so fully upgraded FB rate is now what the old FB rate was at no upgrades. Lightning Tower - Damage increased 42.5% * Pre-result 984 damage, is now 1403 Deadly Striker Tower - Rate of fire increased 21% * Pre-result 2.53 rate, is now 2.00 All other figures reamin exactly the same. Squire - No change to Blood rage effect, circular slice, or weapon base/elem damage amounts. Why would you lower any of the towers especially apprentice towers fire rate in any way, I mean that is completely and utterly uncalled for b/c that is the only thing that makes them useful, trying to throw a bunch of stuff by us is not a good way to regain our trust. And lol S&D towers cost 8 DU now they are not in any way a replacement for 2 bouncers for the same DU cost lol good job trendy, and to think you guys had been checking and everything for almost 6 months well...thought you guys kind of would've learned from PC players that ninjas nerfs are even worse than ones we know are coming. 360 side still doesn't have a date, but regardless good job, of course we won't get to do this though, if we get the patch within the next month that is. Jaws_420 1,016 Posted April 10, 2012 I'll be working on a new set of generic drop data to update my other thread with, but it took me months to find all of those maximums, so it might be awhile before the new ceilings are found for all of the new drops (including any new generics relative to new stages/skins). Jaws_420 1,016 Posted April 10, 2012 Didn't they get a HP buff? Nope. I tested every single tower in full. no change at all (unless you changed your hero stats).

mcwolves71 0 Posted April 10, 2012 Well maybe the re is a glitch because my blockades health 100% for a Fact went up. I.also saw bladehappy have blockades with 15k health and I had never seen anyone with health over 12k
Iyashii 0 Posted April 11, 2012 Well maybe the re is a glitch because my blockades health 100% for a Fact went up. I.also saw bladehappy have blockades with 15k health and I had never seen anyone with health over 12k The patch did not affect tower health. With a naked character with stats at 70 for every stat and the rest into casting rate, my Spike Blockades kept the same attack and health pre and post patch. ShinUkyo 14 Posted April 11, 2012 Apprentice and Squire tower actual attack rates are still slower than the towers displayed attack rates!!!!! Is this true? -_- Oh Lord, that's likely what I was looking forward to most: having them actually fire at the rate they say they will. That would offer some needed/fair compensation for the drops in damage (for Squire) and shown fire rate (for App.)
Deleted User 0 Posted April 11, 2012 yes or no is Apprentice/Huntress/Monk/Squire Guardians been fixed?

That would offer some needed/fair compensation for the drops in damage (for Squire) and shown fire rate (for App.) Yes and no. There seems to be a bit of a debate on that. Yes, they fire faster, but to what they say? I'm not entirely sure. Classic posted that his App towers with a speed of 0.38 only attacked twice a second. That makes sense since the tower can shoot off two full volleys at 0.38 a second. That makes 2 shots every 0.76 seconds. But if it tried to attack a third time it's up to 3 shots at 1.15 seconds. So technically it can only shoot twice in a second. The third shot takes longer than a second to pass before it's shot. I'm still working on specifics, but they seem to be doing fine. classic22 6 Posted April 11, 2012 I agree with Abe, they are nowhere near useful. Don't believe me? Check the PC version. Far out performs console with the same stats.

Even though it was said that the attack rate was a certain % slower the fact that the towers can shoot more than 1 shot per a second is an improvment in itself MM towers that shoot 1\sec makes them worthless if they can get 2-3 shots off a sec maybe they will be worth building
