Fixed bug that was erroneously giving Squire Tower 60% extra damage in Nightmare?

I was finally at the point where I could actually do NM survival on my own, now i can't again...
This broke the game even more, progression is now even more impossible then before. Like the people above me stated, the only way to progress now is to buy er-gear.

Probably modded gear will go rampant as well, hackers using 6000 stats to compensate for the nerf in damage and repair... increasing the gap between high-end and normal players even more.

I only solo tbh.
Just for fun and nm was hard then,now it's imposable.

Put the squire back to how he was,and buff the apprentice how hard is that.
trendy you need to keep players not lose them.

ya no, i use apprentice over squire in almost all situations my stats are around 600-700 and i am able to do most maps with a pure apprentice build

Yup, thanks heaps Trendy. Went from being able to do OMF with two players to getting smoked on wave 12 to a bunch of Wyverns. I really do appreciate the only sane way for me to try and get upgrades being crapped on.

This doesn't fix ****, it just makes the game worse. Buffing the other classes might have actually done something to fix squires being the only viable builder, but not without changing the survivability of the other classes too.

Maybe it is overused, but the solution is not to make it weaker. Make the apprentice better. And really, what are people supposed to use? If you want to do a survival run you need a tower builder so you're essentially choosing between the squire and apprentice. Why would you choose the significantly worse one?

And it's not like the squire was overpowered or anything. Sure, there are some maps that squire doesn't have a problem soloing. There are also many where absolutely need some monk auras or gas traps. The squire was fine.

do i'm the only one annoyed more by the fact we only have two class that rules in tower build?

i means do you see any monk, huntress or EV solo anything with them tower only?

for now my main concern is this on the 6 class present on pc only 2 have offensive tower that worth to be mentioned....

because:
monk: with them aura that don't work on flying and big monster and no wall nor true damage dealing aura
huntress: that don't have any wall and them trap that need to be repair or they are disappering.
barbarian: better.... NO TURRET!
Serie EV: for now everybody is ok with this statement, insanely good wall, good turret booster.... the rest are way too situational for be really usefull... and i don't talk about the fact they have nothing against flying monster.

i wish instead to add us more support class they add us another main turret choice instead of squire and app.

how does it make the game worse it makes the game more challenging instead of just doing squire AFK builds

There are plenty of instances I've seen where monk auras and gas traps are vital to progressing to the later waves. So while the squire can solo plenty of maps, there are still plenty where he also has to rely on the monk auras and/or gas traps.

I kind of see it as the apprentice and squire as builders and the monk and huntress as support classes.

It makes the game ****ty for people not decked out in end game gear, I don't have the stats to do stuff AFK, at least not any kind of stuff that would get me any upgrades. For me, OMF just went doable with two characters to getting demolished on wave 12, thats not challenging, thats just bull****.

the point is we have 4 support class (barbarian included) for 2 builder.... is not really....well.
i think it's time to add another set of offensive turret, more choice is not always bad

As a Countess I thought this sounded cool once people have been pointing out that the extra strong harpoons was a bug to begin with. Yes it's taking a second or two longer to kill stuff in OMF, but I've been able to run it just as fine now as I was before (Though the bugged repair speed on Nightmare isn't helping, though that's being fixed soon.)

And I'm not ultra geared either. It's tougher, but I'm wondering how some people claim some maps are completely undoable now.

The people that are doing afk builds on nightmare will still find a way to do them. This is just making it more difficult for people who are trying to transition. A lot of people are probably at the stage where insane is way too easy and nightmare is way too difficult.

And for progressing their only option is to buy gear from other players because they can't get it in the modes that they actually can do. And the starter mythical gear that they might have been able to get in the the first few nightmare waves that they could could possibly manage with some luck is now going to be much harder to get and a lot less helpful.

Did you guys really have to nerf squire damage in NM? I cant even solo NM HC Spook anymore like I figured out I could do last night. Kind of sucks, a lot.

So I finally got to the point of being able to farm ever so slightly better armor doing misty survival, and now I am locked out of that... great. Back to making tokens to buy better gear I guess.

This NERF business doesn't seem well thought out or tested.
My group has been trying to get going in nightmare survival but it feels like
the rug has continually been ripped out from under us with the last few patches.
How are we supposed to progress and get the good gear if we can't run the survival game where it drops.
Provide some stability and consistency that we can rely on.

Buff the apprentice, restore the squire, restore our faith.

You spend hours and hours farming mana in the hopes of being able to find and buy something better from the players that were fortunate enough to obtain it or get geared before the crap patches.

Yeah, I've noticed that there's no consistency at all in player run shops. Like I was able to find my gear that's good enough to let me do some NMHC survival on the easier maps for like 20 - 30 million a piece. Then I also notice a ton of people selling crap that they probably got from the first wave and endless spires and think that just because it says mythical in front of it that it's worth 100,000,000.
