Guys, there's really enough unconstructive drivel going on in the thread without everyone starting a flame war.
Here's what we know for sure so far:

The trendy twitter has confirmed that the update's coming out today.
The steam store has updated the holiday DLC today, upping the price $1.99

And that's pretty much all we know from official, confirmed sources. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Um... at the end of the shards expansion the level cap is going to be level 80... So no not confirmed but guessing since we got 74 of the first one that the next 3 will eb split at 76, 78, and last one will get us to 80

CinderDragon77 : yeah i feel really sorry for console players on this, they got royally shafted by trendy, and if they can do that to you guys, im really worried about the shard campaign ive already brought, and its nothing to do with the money, its the expectation of game that evaporates thats the concern, heck i spend 20s willy nillly on games ive only ever played for 1/2 hour...

anyway it looks like the shard campaign will be just 4maps... so nothing to get excited about now anyway

also btw this forum is not an accurate reflection of users feelings, as the mods remove any posts they dont like, and edit others to reflect trendy better, heck most of my posts are removed already, and the ones that havent are edited.... (although my last few have been left alone so far - i spose Finally is asleep at this time)

Yeah I expected my post to be removed for something stupid. Thanks for not flaming me though, i know if you check the console dlc news and check how many posts it's gotten. If that isn't enough of a reason to realize they made one of the biggest mistakes possible. from day one didn't tell us that we weren't getting characters. They led us on until they got our money for one more dlc. If they released console only dlc, events don't count because only a few people get in. Or even release us the characters and holiday stuff at a later date in or not in a big, like $15+ pack. This mistake if not corrected appropriately will kill there chances of ever releasing another successful game on console and they probably lost a few people on the pc that don't like the path they're taking with consoles and seemingly starting to take with pc. They better pick there game up now, because the people that are expressing there anger about this are the more vocal part of the community which means there will be many negative reviews and they will keep as many people away from there next game as possible, they are going to destroy there company if this isn't fixed for all platforms asap.

with that said.. i know some of you are waiting to read the next and possible final installment of my short story but it will have to wait.. (before we all got way off topic and started flaming..) to see if he truly does or doesnt come out tonight. i do have 3 installments 1 for when he does and 2 for if he doesnt.

Damn...I promised myself no Dungeon Defenders/games in general in February as I expected these patches/DLCs to come out at Jan16 based on the rumors of monthly releases so I would have completed it all by now. Well... have fun with the new content guys... just 2 more hours and its February here so Im out.

Gol durn it! I can't wait 7.5 hours! I've only got 3 hours of school (college) left and then a 1 hour drive. I'll be sitting at home going nuts for 3.5 hours and probably will have to abuse my roommate in a barbarain like rage in order to satisfy my desire.
