eitan16 0 Posted December 24, 2011 Hey there! I found a new way to self upgrade items that have high number of upgrades. 1) Download "Mouse Recorder Pro 2" from here: http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-postdownload.php?p=112081&t=3&i=1 its a free program. 2) Install the program. 3) Start the program. 4) Enter Dungeon Defenders, make a host. 5) open the Gear you want to upgrade (like this PIC)http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197988388661/screenshot/649874715377009010 6) Press ALT+TAB. (its minimize your game) 7) Press on "RECORD". 8) Press ALT+TAB (back to the game). 9) Upgrade twice and then press Stop Button 10) Press Advanced and change the "time to play script" to the number of the upgrades. That's It. now you can go to do something else while your computer upgrade your items :) Here you can download the whole script and just play it.http://www.filedropper.com/untitled0 First GUIDE HERE! GMKGoat 0 Posted December 24, 2011 Few times it isn't. 800 times it is. A bit of perspective. If you export to open to test different upgrade possibilities on a 200^ weapon, and you fully upgrade it 4 times, you'll have upgraded 800 times. If it takes 3 seconds to upgrade once, and I'm being generous, it's probably more like 5, you'll spend 2400 seconds doing nothing but clicking two buttons. That's fourty minutes. ceemeeir 0 Posted December 24, 2011 well, This guide needs lots of tweaking, but the software is useful. - you are better off rebinding the record/stop and use that instead clicking on record, stop - delete the last few entry, so it doesn't try to re-record itsefl when it runs. - make sure you leave a bit if delay after the last click, else the first click of the loop will fail. - pointless to download his script, because your UI scaling, resolution of the game, position of the window, etc can be different - or simply you want to level up a different stat - you can also do it like : invest, click 1st priority attribute, 2nd priority attribute, 3rd priority attribute, so it doesn't skip shot per second for example. Axodious 0 Posted December 24, 2011 As a suggestion to Trendy it would be nice to be able to spam upgrade an item rather than having to spend the point each time you upgrade and remove the animation that causes a delay for the button to be active again. Holy cow, yeah that pisses me off to no end. The best solution is to allow multiple upgrade levels... aka, an up/down button that lets you invest an entire level based on cilcking just once, but does not require you to allocate the skill point at that time. Then it also correctly pops up the number of upgrade options for specials like "shots per sec" or "number of defenses to boost". Then no one would screw up there skill allocations due to mindless boredom. Although another nice and very easy to code fro alternative is simply a hotkey for the invest all button. :)
Surandra 0 Posted December 28, 2011 Hold Ctrl + Shift and you can apply 5 upgrades at a time.
Draco18s 0 Posted December 28, 2011 1) Download "Workspace Macro" from here: http://www.tethyssolutions.com/product.htm Fixed that for you. WSM also ignores the "start recording" and "stop recording" mouseclicks automatically (no need to edit the script) and can even run the macro ignoring all mouse move and delay events, making that 2 upgrades turn into 800 in about 10 seconds (instead of 5 minutes). (Word of warning: run DD in windowed mode first)
