This event is tedious and horribly tuned for insane difficulty. There's nothing that stops DEWs coming from every direction and killing your presents over and over.

Not surprising, but this is bugged. Completed the first wave, got to the second and handed in 1 present, lost it, handed in another, and then was unable to hand in the next present. You know they could actually test this stuff before releasing it, that would help.
