Insanity 0 Posted December 17, 2011 Is anyone else having a lot of trouble with this as of the recent patch? I mean it never fully went away, but for this patch it seems particularly bad.
TheMaxx 1 Posted December 18, 2011 I am having the same issue. Every time I hit return to tavern it seems to crash.
GANJiN 0 Posted December 18, 2011 I'm having the same issue out of 4 times returning to the tavern it crashes about once. Couldnt figure out the reason though.
Xtracter 0 Posted December 18, 2011 I'm having the same issue. It crashes always after 1 second when i see the tavern.
Kuro Sutoka 0 Posted December 18, 2011 This has happened to myself and two friends of mine at least twice each in the past three hours.
wccrawford 0 Posted December 19, 2011 I have this bug now. I originally did not have this bug. Then I changed out my motherboard, cpu, ram, and power supply. Now, every time I return to the tavern while my friend is connected (I'm hosting), it crashes when it reaches the level select screen. For a while, I found if I hit B (on the controller) fast enough, it would cancel that window and not crash. Now, it doesn't matter how fast I hit it, it always crashed. If I have my friend leave the game, and go back to the tavern alone, I never crash.
GANJiN 0 Posted December 19, 2011 It seems like it crashes between the level screen appearing and other players joining the game (or being in the loading screen).
ReaperSpirit 0 Posted December 20, 2011 This seems to happen to me and my friends if we lose a level. Trying to return to tavern or restart the map will crash us. If we finish the level, we can proceed fine
rizenxin 0 Posted December 22, 2011 patch 7.14b w/ DDDK stealth patch: Still happens 2155 PST 21Dec2011. Failed an Insane UMF Run, opted to return to tavern and BAM! No Crash Dump files exist after RTT crashes either ....
GANJiN 0 Posted December 22, 2011 Still have the bug in 7.14b. No crach dump was created.
JPeters 0 Posted December 22, 2011 For those of you getting this crash - are there any crash dump files being created? Instructions/link are in my signature. If so, PLEASE send them to me at "jpeters@trendyent.com" so we can figure out what's causing this. Thanks.
GANJiN 0 Posted December 22, 2011 I sent you all the crash dumps I have already some days ago. But it seems like when this problem happens there is no new crash dump created. Heres how i created the crash: Created a room and filled it with 3 other players. Played Glitter campaign on insane. After Victory, instead of pressing "Next Level", i pressed ESC and return to tavern. I will see now the level selection screen for a millisecond and then the game crashes and im on my desktop. Rhytech 0 Posted January 6, 2012 I have a similar problem. Mine completely freezes/sometimes fully crashes, but this only happens when I go to the tavern with more than two people. When playing with my buddy, I never have freeze. As soon as we add another person...EVERYTIME going to the tavern after a level I freeze up.

Are you all on the same connection? Could you provide some more details on that?
Rhytech 0 Posted January 6, 2012 Usually, two of us are on the same connection and the third is on a different one and the problem exists. However, even last night, there was three of us on different connections and the problem exists. Both/all internet connections are good ones, with no other problems to speak of. JPeters 0 Posted January 6, 2012 What kind of connections? Are you all on Wired/Wireless? The more information you can provide, the better.
Corrodias 0 Posted January 6, 2012 I also suggest posting a dxdiag report. Start menu, run, "dxdiag". Click the "save all information" button. Save the contents of the text file it generates on pastebin.com or something, and post the link here. I'm sure they would like to see if there's some commonality among the hardware and drivers you're using.
Rhytech 0 Posted January 6, 2012 I will do that later, unfortunately, not home to do that now. I play on a wireless connection, everyone else on wired. I understand this could be the problem, but what I am curious about is why once it goes to three players I get the freeze.

Can you try it on the wireless and off the wireless and see if there is any sort of trend?
Rhytech 0 Posted January 6, 2012 Can you try it on the wireless and off the wireless and see if there is any sort of trend? So, I went to buddies to try and troubleshoot a few of these ideas. First I plugged in my wire, and we played and it still froze when heading to the tavern. Then I jumped on his roommate's computer and the same thing happened. So does this mean that when playing on the same connection it has problems?!? I still freeze when playing over wireless as well, but I can understand that maybe this is the reason. Hopefully that fix in 7.16 will take care of this cause it sure is annoying.
