The chicken companion.

So I am nearly done competing all the achieves for the chicken.

I have a couple of questions before I do.

1) Are all chickens the same?
E.g: My mate and I both get our chickens and they are both the same or different? because I will be extremely *angry* if I get a chicken with horrible stats or -stats. 1 per account and I get a bad one is just my luck.

2) Did the 30% damage buff that was supposed to be in the last patch actually make it into the patch?
I thought I saw a thread the other day about someones chicken doing the same damage after as before.

1: no

2: i've people see mention only the chickens obtained after the last patch have gotten the buff.

Not sure about #2, but I can answer the first.

Not all chickens are identical, this has caused some outrage on the forums, understandably so, but they should have a minimum value. Hope that helps.

i got my chicken too. . . but in all honesty. . . i was disappointed. . . chicken throws eggs with slow projectile and small aoe with knockbacks or pecks at enemies in melee range, upgraded attacks per seconds to 6 and it still attacks about 2 attacks per seconds. An Animus attacks does piercing xray damage with fast attack speed, with the new superloot animus in shops i'd rather stick with an animus

Don't get it yet wait until they are all the same or after the lvl cap is raised

I think I will wait until they get it sorted out, from the sounds of it something you can get from a shop trumps it.

I was really hoping that a 1 per account item with alot of hard to receive would be better than this.

Round 10 on pure strategy isn't an issue it's the hour or more it takes to get to round 15 to get the pets to make up the achieve for all pets.

Guess I'll stick with my animus.

Wait until the SPS gets fixed. When they make its actual rate of fire the same as its tooltip, prepare for 3x DPS.
