Game too addictive.

I was sitting in a tavern, waiting to sell some godly armors, when I realized, "holy ****, this game is turning me into a loser."

I have to get out now before the new content comes in.

I deleted all my characters and am giving away my loot to a friend.

GJ Trendy, your game is so good I had to ragequit in order to have a life.

I quit and I deleted all my characters, too. The game just got too boring.

Well, I don't quit. I also didn't delete any of my characters. I'm just taking a break from the game, and not because it's too boring. The issue is that November 11th is coming up soon, and my computer has an appointment with Skyrim for a while. It's more of a rehabilitation thing, really. It'll probably take a few weeks for my computer to adjust itself back to normal living in Tamriel.

I guess my initial statement was completely false.

I actually had to stop myself from playing as well. I had a really bad addiction to WoW back on its release. Continued for 4 years. I know when I'm getting too involved in a game. It isn't high school anymore, though. Trendy, you made a great game that has all the elements that made me play WoW for so long. I imagine this game getting only better.

Never make such promises on unreleased games like you do on Skyrim, especially in the past years it's pretty stupid thing to do, looking forward to it is okay, but hyping is just silly because of the amount of crap produced by the video game industry the past few years. You have to be worried of every single game being console ported, having some stupid DRM, forced internet connection, little to no patches, tons of bugs, not getting what you've been promised etc. I've always liked Bethesda and I'm a HUGE Elder Scrolls fan but every game is bad till it's actually released, haha.

I 100% agree with this statement.

For any title that does not start with "The Elder Scrolls".

Sorry 2gstar.. this is the one franchise/title that can't help but be spectacular. The reason I know it is the modding community. Vanilla Oblivion was a 20 hour gameplay title. The modding community made it a 200+ hour title.

Unlike Oblivion, where I spent over 80 hours in the forums before release, I've pretty much ignored Skyrim. I watched the live action trailer and have seen maybe 8-10 screenshots. I can't wait to launch the title completely unaware of what to expect.

That's what I hope for too, I'm just pretty worried about any game I look forward to. T.T
