Which DD2 hero is most like The Hermit?

I've looked through the list of heroes available to me and none of them are the Hermit.  If he is in DD2, do I need to unlock him?

I'm also interested to know if there is one like the Summoner.

Theres nothing like the hermit in DD2, the closest thing in combat would be the barbarian in combat, but he has no defenses. And the closest thing in defenses would be the dryad i guess. But both are different from the hermit, we just dont have him in DD2. You can test all heroes in the portal atop the stairs beside the town's forge.

Theres no summoner in DD2, the closest thing is the Abyss Lord which is a massive downgrade, except for the looks.

I recommend testing the heroes and choose something u like instead.

I also recommend posting in General forum cos this is pretty empty, or join chromatic's discord because most players go there, and devs pay more attention to discord than this.
