To ruin the tradition of "12 days of Christmas Giveaways" that we've been doing for the past years, I'm pulling up with the old school Advent Calendar instead.

 

To enter this giveaway you simply have to write a little text about your favorite DD map and with it send your ACTUAL Steam ID! (here you can find ur actual ID)
(Can be something as simple as "MOONBASE GOOD :orc:" or something more fancy like "Sky City is really my cup of tea, the map is just so fabulously done and if im allowed to say so myself, the wave25 survival reward is just absolute extraordinary")

 

Rules

* Each day there will be winners, starting from the 1st of December until the 25'th of December
* You may enter at any time, but entering earlier makes your chance of winning something much greater!
* Enter with your ACTUAL steam ID, you can find it here
* If your message gets reported as spam, just send your Steam name instead of the Steam ID.
* Each player may only win once.
* You can only enter on one account, if you're caught trying to cheat you'll not get anything

* LIVE ONLY!
* Prizes will be announced alongside with the winners of each day, so dont forget to check in if you won!
* Winners will have have to message me on my steam account or my discord Sam116#9428 to pick up their reward(s)!

Halloween Invasion

OK so after playing this patch for awhile, running many many pub games with players of all status, and chatting with a lot of endgameplayers and confirming many people have some of the same thoughts, here are my suggestions for the current patch in terms of balance changes. 1) Sam is aware of lots of minor QoL changes on maps that will be implemented and make things better so I will ignore these as I have pointed most out to him already. Room for discussion on moving the west enemy spawn on HI that is close to crystal so enemies are not immune so close to the core(gold orcs are dumb the 1/20 runs they smack the core) 2)Halloween Invasion. This map runs well, its faster the more players there are if you are optimized. Adding more suboptimal players to the group makes it harder due to scaling but its still doable much like poly, so i think bosses hp and scaling are in a good place. Random losses are avoidable mostly with proper character placement, although kraken AI is still terrible and phoenix hitbox is weird, that's been a thing for awhile in DD so i guess there isn't an easy/good fix for that. SUGGESTED CHANGE: Remove the spider wave and level all towers up to tier3 or 4. as we see in tavern incursion, its possible to level up all player towers immediately. As you are given huge amounts of mana in HI, you can easily complete a full build before starting, people arent upgrading much besides buffs and auras during the 200 spider kill wave. This wave is people standing around, slowly getting mana to upgrade. MAJOR POINT: since you cannot change characters between waves, no one would run on an upgrader for this wave, but the wave is meant for upgrading, this makes absolutely no sense. It shouldnt be in there. Either have a wave break there so ppl can be on upgraders. or save everyone the boring time and just autoupgrade towers so people can get on with the boss rush that this map was meant to be.

Squamous is one of the most beautiful, vibey, chill maps of all time. My first love for aquanos started in 2015/2016 when I bought the dlc and decided to test the extremely powerful kraken. I will forever love this map. Steam-srvance_2002

Oh boy do i love Magus Citadel. I wake up from my beautiful slumber and hop on the magus citadel to acquire the delicious, delectable magic hats and magic monocules. They shine so bright in the night sky moon of the magus citadel and the set bonus is beautiful. I love absolutely evaporting the mage boss into pixels with my ev named Ouch. My ev is acompanied by my beautiful bald fella "i am digitalizing". Together they have the raw bald power to turn magus citadel into a 2 second total boss fight. I love magus citadel. No jawn more jawniful than the map of magus citadel.
