Can't host games. Can connect to games (if they're visible).

Hey there,

Go ahead and send an email to our support team (support@chromatic.games) and they can hopefully troubleshoot you through your issue. Include any info/screenshots that you have (I would link to your original post here).

I had the same issue. This is a temporary glitch. Problems pass quickly

Been nearly a month with the same issue. Doesn't seem quick.

DD1 Isn't officially supported anymore so it ends up to just a few people in the company who know bits of DD1 to look at when they have a spare moment.

As for the issue, unfortunately you've done all the main fixes to try. Granted DD1 has not been tested on Windows 11 officially so MAYBE that plays a part. My only two last suggestions since I don't see it listed there is a direct connection if you're playing on WIFI and repairing your Steam client. If its neither that then unfortunately you've run out of things to try outside of downgrading to Windows 10.

There have been players that no matter what we tried could never be able to host a game. We don't do anything special with our game really besides poke Steam with, hey host this game for us in your system. Best of luck!

In my experience is not caused by win11 nor connected via wifi. Im on a wifi connection aswell, this only happens when i install any software which then creatures a virtual network. Usually disabling those networks in question solves the problem.
