Can't host games. Can connect to games (if they're visible).

Recommended Posts

I've followed the troubleshooting guide.

Firewall is disabled.

Tried several different beta branches.

Disabled network adapters.

Tried the -tcp target line argument.

Ran DDef as administrator.

Hyper-V is disabled.

I can connect to other's games just fine if they're in the list but I cannot host my own.

Same thing applies to a friend of mine we are trying to play together. We are both are on the latest stable branch Windows 11.

If you CAN'T host your own matches but CAN join other people's, disable all network adapters but your primary internet connection in your Network and Sharing Centre section of the Control Panel. If this does not work, try disabling any potentially active tunneling engine on your computer, most often created by a VPN or Hamachi.

You didn't read my post. I already did all that. I don't use VPNs or Hamachi and Hyper-V is disabled.

I did read your post, Other than vps (that you didnt mention, thus I copied here the most usual response) maybe you are using stuff like wsl2 or other linux subsystems?
sadly after checking all the other instances where people couldn't create the game, I'm running out of ideas
