Happy new year defenders. To celebrate a new year, hopefully a better one for most people, with the possible end of the pandemic in sight, I'll be giving away a few party hats and party poppers.

I'm also doing a few raffles on the discord server here, so be sure to join there as well for higher chances of winning.

Hello, Donkeh Kong here. I just wanted to wish you all a happy new years, because without a doubt (Kappa) next year cannot be worse than 2021. My new years resolution was to make some new friends I could call ''true friends'' and by joining DD I met new people I could call that and found a new game to enjoy. I hope everyone reading this had a great year even with the shitty stuff going on and hope next year will be just as good as this year or even better.

Hey all, I hope it has been a great year for you guys. If not, focus on the positives. I sure as well will despite having heavy negatives. As for DD-related news, I started playing late summer with a friend who no longer plays. I decided to join the discord server in order to find out more about the player base and it ended up being a great thing to do. I met so many people, some of whom I still speak to regularly. I enjoy the trolling conversations with Lunaris, testing out infested builds with Matt and Sand and just shopping around in other lobbies, such as Donkeh, Limemy(we need you back online), Nuke and Artamiel. I also recently participated in Uber's drinking giveaway voice chat, which was kind of tough for someone who's Deaf, but I actually had a lot of fun that night. Anyways, sorry for the long post and I hope you all have a great remainder of 2021 and have/create something to look forward to in 2022!

Hello NukeZta here, I want to wish the DDRNG Community happy holidays and hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family. Even though i couldnt this year due to getting covid 3 days before christmas, all you guys who talked to me made it SOOOOO MUCHH better for me.. I Didnt feel like i was alone at all.. I appreciate every one of you who stopped by and wished me well and if you guys every need anything i'm here for you all. if you're going through something and need some one to vent to or any advice with anything i'm here for you. The year is almost at its end and a whole new year is ahead of us which means new opportunities. DD was a weird experience in a good way for me. I was thinking that after 10 years, DD would be quite dead, but then I beheld an 'active' community that still had an alive spirit in it. 

Discord servers of most games I played aren't nearly active as a game this old, although I played mainly mobile games before DD.

The special thing about this game to me is that there are contents, although a small amount, that I can look forward to in great depth, combined with a wonderful community that has aged like fine wine.

I hope to see all of you again in the coming years as we continue this DD journey together.

If I were to pick a New Years Resolution, I would be stuck between finding a purpose for myself outside of DD, and helping to make DD a better experience for other people, while simultaneously getting stronger in the game myself.

Anyways I will retell a tale from the beginning of this journey:

 

Thank you Putz for giving a new player quite the shock in infested survival (I literally just started playing and was thrown in XD),

Bullshoy for raising me from DD infancy,

InflictedNote for giving me 1 trillion mana+ult cardboard tubes and making me think I was the richest person ever 

Chaeng for infusing me with the competitive spirit by being a pro-active shopper,

OGTouser and Zarkov for being my best friends for a bit, we farmed lots of moonbase and wintermire together ( I crai)

Alu+Hash for giving in to me begging you for Wintermire+Embermount runs and also introducing me to Poly,

Sand for giving me a 200 cat,

Limemy for giving me an awesome ember rock pet when I was new, 

Rougepwn for graduating me from Supreme gear on all chars and for showing me the awesomeness of event items, 

Thales for giving me the lamp event item back when I lost an item in trade, and teaching me about traces,

Jett for selling an event item to get me an ult upgrader set, you have no idea how happy I was,

Jrod for buying all my Supreme accessories,

Mixxo+Heesch for being my introduction to Ult++ armor

Izik for converting me to the church of RNGesus,

Nukezta/ Mr. Misery/Donkeh/Fl4shThunder/Shufl/Morden for introducing me the shop2win lifestyle,

M4tt for teaching me how to do infested,

Machine for teaching me how potent trading can be

Luna for putting up with me in Poly back when I was super super cooked and helped me get better,

Mr. Ed+Lee+Broholm for being a positive presence,

OnlyTrickzZ for being such a fun person to hang around with in pub lobbies,

 

Thank you all active discord chat people for making DD such a fun experience for me.

And lastly, thank you mods and admins for helping manage such a wonderful community for a long time.

I am not gonna talk about the you know what going on rn. Make sure to be grateful for the things you have in life. I have met some of the most awesome people ever online in Runescape. And that same trend continued coming "back" to DD. 

Loved to see that me being generous to new players on Redux came back as good karma. People on Live been very helpful and awesome. Can't thank everyone enough.
