Holiday Giveaway [The Night Uber Saved Christmas, Edition]

As it's become a tradition, we're going to have another 12 days of Christmas giveaway. This is an Uber edition so expect some scuffs \o/

Here's how this one is going to work:

• There will be 2 winners per day from December 13-25th. Winners and prizes will be posted when I have time 
• You can only win once, so if you win on Dec 13 you can't win any other day
• You can only enter on one account, if you're caught trying to cheat you'll get bounced

I will give out rewards after christmas rather than chase people down everyday to maintain my own sanity. My favorite thing that happened this year in 2021 would be the time I invested to grind for end game gears/items and also how to play this game strategically. I started playing this game last year in November 2020, back on live and transferred to REDUX in early January 2021. Throughout my journey, I met a lot of end game players and met a lot of nice players. Another great thing was being known in game, like who is iLights? xD

So again, all in one, stating my favorite thing that happened this year would be playing Dungeon Defenders, creating bonds and play with in game friends. (SOLO grind is rewarding but so boring!) Completing maps on the highest difficulty and time runs. Overall, EVERYTHING of this game was my favorite game of the year. :)

In DD I enjoyed talking with people a lot since I’m very talkative. IRL I enjoyed mountain biking and not breaking any bones this year.

My spouse covered me up with a blanket. Hubble is a curly coated retriever, though his fur is a bit of a mess in that picture. Hubble put those toys on me, probably to wake me up to play, but then gave up when I didn't and just laid down next to me instead.

Thank you for hosting this event! 

For me, 2021 was a complicated year, I moved states at the end of 2020 and so 2021 was a lot of adapting to a very different lifestyle (i was a fully blown country bumpkin) living in a "developed" city with halfway decent internet for the first time in my life. Many new jobs and things to get used to. But an added bonus about having reliable internet was myself rediscovering the games of my childhood and trying a few new ones. Tarkov was probably the most notable game I got into, but much much more recently i picked DD1 up again after having not played it since 2012. Many thanks to Lee, Putz, Matt, Zen, Pardus, Cam, Artamiel and many others who helped me get back into DD1. I have been completing so many of my old goals i had wanted to achieve as a kid. It has been a huge nostalgic trip for me and I'm loving every minute of it. A special thanks also to the staff who run this awesome community, with the events and support you provide- Thank you.

Cheers for the event as always.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Crystal Legend Race as well as the Tropics of Etheria events. Never participated in a race before and got to do that with my cousin for some good fun. That Tropics of Etheria map was brutal, but was really pretty and a good map overall. Very classic feel to it. I also got a chance to just hang out with some people in the discord in someone's tavern, forgot who it was, but some big names showed up like Dubudubu, lolzcoolcat, and even Moose. There was a outfit judging party and I nearly won, 2nd place :( Still had a good time nonetheless.

My favorite thing this year is that I did not loose anyone due to the pandemic.
I'm Sorry for everyone who did and am looking forward to healthier times.

There are multiple things I enjoyed/am grateful for in 2021. The main thing being I finally left my depression in the past. It's no longer something that defines me.

On a less heavy note I am grateful that I refound DD as a game and fully indulged myself in the community. We might be small (especially Redux) but we are very welcoming.

Also found a new hobby in building custom keyboards which is a nice bonus
