Shard Ideas

Since we seem to be getting some more activity around these parts, how about brainstorming shard ideas! Afterall, they're now 2.5x the original cost (gems) so if you want people to spend their real life monies on it, we need more incentives! Bring back some spheres as shards too, they had pretty cool effects.

Flameburst - Converts Flamethrower Tower into Flameburst Tower. Deals % damage to target and % damage to surrounding enemies in radius X.

Elemental Trap - Explosive Trap deals % more damage and has a % chance of randomly applying an element Earth, Fire, Water, and Storm.

Steam Jet - Geyser has a % chance to shoot a jet of steam confusing enemies for X seconds.

Lightning Storm - Lightning Aura has a % chance to hit X enemies.

Would definitely be great to have Elemental Chaos back for the explosive trap which is what your Elemental Trap is suggesting!

I would prefer the Flameburst to be a default tower kit for The Adept rather than being a shard to make her slightly more unique (If it's possible). But shard or tower kit, I gotta say that that Splash Damage is a great idea for the Flameburst to not just be another cannonball with a fire servo.

The two passives that I would love to return as shards would be the Lady Orc Slayer to complete the Slayer shards collection (though Skeletal Bind might have to return to actually complete it too). And the Harbinger's passive for the Arcane Barrier. I've already loved the Meteor Rain shard. It would be awesomely fun for the Arcane Barrier to have that ability again!

Yes - elemental chaos. Forgot it was called that!

Spreadfire - cannon ball tower has a chance to fire x shots in a spread dealing % damage.

A shard to add doubble jump would be awesome
